Unlikely. Are they playing with a woman’s ball or switch out every possession? I know for a fact every college has a group of guys who play uncoached against the woman’s bball team and they have to hold back.

Average probably not but playoff team yes

Good point. My mind was thinking more just roll the ball out and scrimmage but in an actual game they’d definitely get some points for that reason alone.

This makes me think of that time fat mouth Megan rappinoe and the usa women's team got their asses handed to them by some 13 year old boys in a scrimmage.

No men in women sports. Or something like that. I forgot we pretend to care about womens sports and then you actually dont.

I just looked up the roster on MaxPreps for my old high school. 3A, bounced in the 1st Round of the playoffs last year.

One kid under 6' (listed at 5'11") and he was a SG. The only Center on the roster is 6'6". Just compared that to the Las Vegas Aces roster. I'm putting my money on the 15-12 record boys.

Pretty close to a .500 record and about half way as far as school sizes go according to classification. That's about as close to average as you can get.

Good data there, yeah in that case I think an average team wins. What about average vs wnba all stars? Probably a close game but the height, speed, and power probably win out.

Only chance is for wnba to win with fundamentals which they would have 10x on any average high school team

If the average men's HS team has a few players that can dunk, then yes.

If not, then no.

The average high school varsity team will have a few who can dunk. 1A or 2A ball maybe not but the larger high schools will

Anyone who thinks a WNBA team could beat a good HS boys team is crazy.

The only reason these “debates” exist is because women know the truth and they avoid these games.

Caitlin Clark was offered $5,000,000 to play in 8 games by Ice Cube.

She makes $76,000 per year in the WNBA.

Now, if you were offered 66 years of your salary up front for 8 days of work - would you take it????

She did not. Why?

Because she could not have scored a single point and ALL women would be a laughing stock.

Another point: I see footage all the time of good (male) college and NBA players vs rec league men. They play for fun.

Where is the footage of WNBA or college basketball women playing with rec league men? It does not exist because they know what would happen. A WNBA player could not score 10 points on any decent college fraternity rec league.

Women suck at sports compared to men. It’s stupid to debate it.

And they are dunking with a men sized ball. With a smaller ball I'd imagine some of the kids that can only touch rim with a men's sized ball will be dunking with the smaller ball because it is easier to palm.

With a smaller sized ball, the boys will score more than they normally would. With a men's sized ball, the women would score less than they normally would. Either way, the boys would roll.

Now I'm sure there is some winless or 2 win 1A school in Idaho that would lose to a WNBA team, but that isn't the "average" boys HS team.

"6'7" is 6'7",no matter the gender" ? Get real. There are many 6'7" forwards in college & in the pros. Many go 240-250 lbs plus. They'd run over the girls' team all nite long. Ever seen Shaq back an NBA player from the top of the key to the basket? The big girl from UCLA would have tire tracks all over her body. Her nose broken from having blocks slammed back into her face. .

I played 2A HS ball and we were not very good. So yeah a pro wimmenz team could beat us. Or should at least. But there were some damn good small HS teams who would beat them, no doubt.

They could beat 1st half Tennessee from the elite 8, at least.

Maybe a WNBA All-Star team. There are ladies out there that can hoop, but athleticism would win the day.

It really isn’t when you factor in jumping, athleticism and physicality.

I’d take a 6’4-6’5 male post player from a high level high school over any 6’7 wnba post in the league.

Really? The constant dribbling off their feet and passes thrown out of bounds is solid fundamentals?

Fundamentals are great, until some high school kid dunks on your weave.

In no world could a college women’s team defeat an avg reasonably sized boys hs team.

Not even close. 5 buddies, only 2 of us even played hs ball, all now in our 30s and avg to below avg shape worked a high level D2 team we were asked to scrimmage. The strength and quickness was like playing a 5th grade team even though their posts tried boxing out to prove a point. Even positioned, they were too slow to get half the rebounds.
