This is a terrible stat to try to justify something. Without even looking I'm certain Kentucky has the most consecutive

It’s an active streak list, dumbass

Bama fans.... Just too childish to deal with. I have bama fan cousins in Alabama. I can just picture what these bama fans on here are like in real life. These types all the same.

Enjoy the tournament. One of the most fun times of the year.

Bama had been crowing about Oats' conference tournament championships until Sunday. Caught up yet?

Just so you know the objective is to win it all. Not sure this stat means shite in the scheme of things.

OP, your data is bad.

A&M

2006 - made it to second round
2007 - sweet 16
2008 - made it to second round
2009 - made it to second round
2010 - made it to second round

That's 5 in a row.

Edit: oh, I see. You mean, "most years in a row without a first round lost." So, a team that won in 1950, never made the tournament again, but them won again in 2024 would have a "streak" of 74 years.

That's stupid.

I was curious how this stacked up to appearances.

11- Auburn (1984) - 13 appearances
8- Florida (2010) - 24 appearances
3- Arkansas (2018) - 35 appearances
2- Tennessee (2021) - 26 appearances
2- Texas (2021) - 38 appearances
2- Oklahoma (2018) - 33 appearances
1- Kentucky (2022) - 61 appearances
1- Alabama (2022) - 24 appearances
1- South Carolina (2017) - 10 appearances
0- Texas A&M (2023) - 16 appearances
0- LSU (2022) - 24 appearances
0- Miss State (2023) - 13 appearances
0- Missouri (2021) - 28 appearances
0- Ole Miss (2019) - 8 appearances
0- Vanderbilt (2017) - 15 appearances
0- Georgia (2015) - 10 appearances

So Auburn's made the tournament 11 times in 40 years?

2004-2017 was a rough stretch. It took Bruce 4 years to get to the tournament.

This will be Bruce's 5th Tournament, which leads all coaches ever at Auburn. He is also 14 wins shy of being the winningest coach in Auburn history. I think he's had Auburn in the AP Poll 88 times now. Auburn had only been ranked in the AP 90 times before Bruce, so he is close to being ranked in the AP more than all coaches at Auburn combined.

Bruce built this at Auburn from the ground, and all Auburn fans are thankful and enjoying the ride.

This tells quite the story. There are a bunch of good coaches in the conference but there's not one that means more to their school than Bruce does Auburn.
