Interesting how Mizzou fans can simultaneously call the Vandy player dirty when their QB gets hurt while also being glad the other QB got in the game.

Happens in all levels. When I was in highschool, our nose tackle took a kid out. That kid purposely tried hitting him in the nutts. Our tackle grabbed his arm and broke it.

Obviously you didn't get into Vandy on grades...

Majority of Mizzou fans show respect for your new program's successes. Let me help you out with your ignorant assertion...

Mizzou Starting QB 1 was injured Game 1 and is still out...most likely for the season

Mizzou QB 2 had his ankle dislocated by one of Vandy's dirty players and looks to be out for the remainder of the season

Mizzou QB 3 is the heir apparent and most naive fans always desire to go to somebody else, especially the 'future" QB.

Our now QB 1 is a true freshman who has never seen action and is now thrown into playing a Top 10 team in the country and in the SEC gauntlet. He did well in the game against you when he was thrown in the fire. Hope this helps you comprehend the comments.

I can see both sides. If you are trying a goal line stand and you get ahold of the ball carrier you don’t let go until you hear the whistle. That being said it looks like he may have twisted the foot up and that’s dirty. It can’t be definitely said though from the video posted.

100% - That ball literally hit the wall of the stands. I know that is a bit of a narrow sideline, but it's not that narrow.

If any MU fan was hoping for Zoller's to play they certainly wouldn't be hoping it was due to an injury to Beau - especially as severe as this injury appears to be (unless they are a sadistic SOB). That's just effed up to even suggest.

What is effed up even more.... it is pretty clear that 99 had intent to injur as there was absolutely no reason for him to roll the way he did when the play was clearly over (others were already getting up) - other than to torque whatever he had in his grasp, which was Beau's leg. Not saying this doesn't happen in the game - but this was pretty clear and caught by the camera.

I do think Mizzou fans were encouraged by Zoller's play (especially given the circumstance and lack of experience). Other than the fumble he played pretty well.

Agree with everything you said. This was intentional and the video shows that.

Yeah in a scrum for a fumble etc it is common to grab a pair of balls ( nuts) to get the guy with possession to loosen his grip on the football. This is clearly different with the torquing motion and rolling.

We’re probably not even going bowling and we’re your best win going into November. It also required a rally at home

Don't flatter yourself. South Carolina and Auburn were better wins. 1) They are SEC, 2) They have a better QB, 3) Auburn was won on the road.

kansas couldn't be the best at anything.

I'd say that likely happens in some form most games in the scrums.

You're a pussy for even bringing it up.

Take your L

defenders roll up the ball carrier's leg dislocating his ankle and tearing three tendons most games in the scrum?

The result could actually be good overall for Missouri, but at the same time be a dirty play.
I'm sure stuff like this happens often, but not to this degree and not caught so clearly on camera. You have to punish this, or you show everyone that this is the new line.
Hell, something like that could do worse than end a football career. You could affect someone's ability to support weight, walk or run for the rest of their life.

Yes that was absolutely dirty, but more blame should be put on our OC who REFUSES to handoff to Hardy inside the 5. He is a guarantee, a 3-down NFL back and we choose to run the white avg athlete QB into the teeth of the defense week after week KNOWING all we have left are 2 true freshman QBs.

Not to mention the amount of taunting Vandy engaged in. Way worse than the stupid call against Missouri in the Bama game.

You absolutely can’t tell from that video if it was dirty or not. He had a hold of the leg and held on for dear life. Wasn’t going to let him score.

I’ve never seen anything dirty from our players. They do run their mouths a little but they’ve been beaten to a pulp for years and they’re not taking it this year.

I don’t think it was a dirty play. It sucks that he was injured, but those kinds of plays, where a guy is held by the leg, fighting for yardage are brutal. You guys act like he was doing a gator roll. All I saw was him holding on for dear life and the other defenders plow Pribula over, resulting in the injury.

Totally agree. Our OC has been letting us down during key moments. Hardy and Roberts should be handed the ball. Sending Beau into the very good Vandy D Line was at best stupid. Terrible play calling during that series.

Agreed.

Had the whistle blown? If not, you do NOT release the ballcarrier.

By all means you guys deserve to be chippy and talking, especially with all these arrogant trash talking arses in the SEC. I also agree your team is not dirty.

You are seeing this play with blinders on. He definitely knew the play was stopped yet kept working the leg. There is no way you can defend that type of action unless you have never played. Players generally respect the unwritten code regarding knees and ankles.

the way he rolls up on beau's leg after beau is down is what makes it potentially dirty. if he still had beau's ankle/foot trapped against his body that roll up is very dangerous for beau. he should have rolled off of beau instead of further up his leg
