No clue what will happen and can’t do anything about it anyway. He leaves and I’m sure he’ll do great things in Austin. Obviously, I hope he stays. Just have to make a wise hire in the event he departs.

I haven't made a prediction...other than being sure it's not Schloss. I have said time and time again I have no frickin' clue who it'll be. Previous texas head coaching searches have taught me to ignore the noise.\
I suspect Bakich on a hunch...but I'm not "predicting" that. CDC could throw a curve ball and hire someone not being mentioned. No clue.

Do any of these done deal rumors ever pan out
Every time there’s an LSU coaching search you can go into it knowing the first 3-5 “done deals” wont be the hire

Although I will say, if these rumors are all over social media (I honestly don’t know) and it’s clear that Schloss and the A&M team will have heard the rumors, then you would think Schloss would come out and publicly say he’s not going anywhere right before the biggest game in program history to rally the team

Yeah, I thought about that as well but all he really needs to do is tell the team he's going nowhere to shut down the distractions. No need to create a bigger distraction by going public.
