53 million?

Those are rookie numbers, you gotta bump those up…

In all seriousness: if he really is gone congrats. Y’all deserve better.

I might be in the minority, but I think he stays put with a nice raise.
He is a tough son of a gun.

Dude was clearly hurting, and he got knocked around a lot, but kept fighting.

I respect the heck out of that.

Thats it. Just a random opinion from an opposing fan.

I may not have preseason, but I damn sure do after we played them

Oregon should be #1, imo
Penalties are going to bite us in the arse if we dont clean that up. It’s maddening.

I want to go to an Aggie game between the hedges so damn bad.
This is a fun conversation, but I agree with the various previous posters that say that both teams have some real work left in front of them to make this discussion relevant.

The potential for this game to be really really fun and very meaningful is there, let's hope that both teams do their part in the coming weeks to deliver us such an amazing football gift.

I know that USC this weekend will be a handful for us, and Auburn at their house will be tough.

If we can play well and win those games, then I will personally revel in all the ridiculous smack talk that would accompany the renewal of an old rivalry with a bang. But only after the next three games are behind us.

Should be a hell of a game.

I hope.
That’s pretty darn impressive

Kid is talented & Joey Freshwater can coach.

What a game. What a series!

That stadium was rocking rocky top as the Vols celebrated a well deserved national title as we left.

It was a great weekend, i thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the Tennessee fans & got to watch two incredible clubs duke it out for a natty.

My boys came up short, but I'm damn proud of them. They fought til the end.

To the Vols: congrats on an epic win & title. Y'all fielded a special team this year & you earned it.

Great game & great series, Vols. Congrats on the natty!
Im old

I got it

Upvote for a solid old school reference.

You ever post on old Rivalries board back in the day?
Not sure on wind, but it is hotter than the fires of hell here. If a lifelong Texan is saying it’s hot, it’s hot.
We are about to leave the hotel & head to the stadium. We plan on pissing away some more money on trays of jello shots at Roccos, sharing them with the Vols that made the trip, & then easing over to the field for an epic game 3.

Best of luck Vols; regardless of the outcome tonight I have thoroughly enjoyed hanging with your fans & playing your great baseball team in Omaha. Let’s do it again sometime. :)
We are in Omaha; waiting around for a 6pm game after being here for three days already, is brutal. It’s literally like watching haircuts.

With as many casinos we have along the borders, I'm surprised we aren't higher. Family vacation wise, we don't have much though.

Broken Bow & the surrounding areas are phenomenal for family trips.

Whichever team has their starter in longest will win tomorrow. If Lamkin can get through the line up twice with minimum damage I like our chances. If he can’t we lose and probably by a large margin.

I agree with this

Either way: it’s been a great series in Omaha; we’ve had a blast hanging out with all the Vol fans! I can’t wait to get to the ballpark tomorrow for game 3!
