Hopefully get this one over the line.
Then bring in Wisner and Durham for their visits and see who wants to be a part of the best backfield in the country next season.

It's the reason you gave Kevin Smith a millie a year contract.

Yeah. It has nothing to do with his history of developing top tier running backs the last few years. It was just to get one player for one year.

Then again, Ole Miss hired a guy LSU decided wasn’t even deserving of an on-field coaching position.

You won't be running the ball period with 7 offensive lineman in the portal..1 returned so there's that, I hope your O line coach is a miracle worker..might be difficult getting a QB and running back and even the portal King isn't signing all the top Offensive lineman too many other schools so no playoffs next year.another rough year next year..just preparing you..

Keeping the eligible big uglies up front too. Starting C and both OGs have signed to stay next year. Both OTs out of eligibility so replacing them.

If we can fend off LSU and Texas for Kutas, that'd be huge.

Kutas is fielding very big offers from LSU and Texas at the moment. We are still working him.

Are these top-tier running backs that KS developed in the room with us? I’ll give you Lacy, but who else? He didn’t bring in or develop Judkins.

This has been a disaster for LSU. Lane really thought these players would follow him

He did sign Judkins but Judkins was college ready day 1. I won't belittle the job he did. Kevin did fine for Ole Miss outside of last year, which may have been the worst run RB room I've seen. That doesn't change the fact that LSU paid him a million because they thought landing him would also land Kewan. It's why Texas offered Kevin a nice contract. Ole Miss was gonna give him a big raise for it too. It's not a judgement on LSU to say that's why they did.

We'll see when the plane lands but Kewan and his family were alleged to be disappointed in the video leak that came out earlier this month. They felt it painted Kewan in a bad light. If so, releasing it to troll Ole Miss was a misstep on Kiffin's part.

ETA: Smith also didn't coach Quinshon his freshman year as he left for Miami after signing day.

Kevin Smith didn't develop any RB's for us. He had a great relationship with Lacy, and offering him big money to stay was a play to keep Lacy - not because Smith was some sort of miracle worker as a RB coach.

Lane decided it because he wanted Lacy - not LSU. Your football team is no longer the "LSU" team - it's "Lane Kiffin's" team. Wilson was respected and loved by the players and your fanbase until Lane told you that you have to worship him and "his" picks. Get used to it.

Did pretty well at his previous stops. It’s not all about what he did at Ole Miss. He was strong at FAU as well. When he’s been with Kiffin, they have had good Running Backs unlike LSU of late with your new RB coach who found a way to coach down players.

Not always great, but good, yes. Better than LSU has had under Frank Wilson.

You’d think RB would be the easiest position to recruit. Literal players no one has ever heard of do good work in the NFL every year.
