Much easier to beat out five people who do not have the top notch training facilities we have here, as opposed to beating out 10-12 others who all train the same way you do.

Some of the smaller countries have rules that allow you to be part of their Olympic team even if you are not a citizen of that country (you simply have to have a parent of grandparent who was, or some other connection).

Yes. There are way more opportunities going the international route and it's often easier to qualify that way.

Florida and Georgia have more USA athletes then all but 4 other teams have athletes period. We representing the USA!!!
