One play didn't do it and the kid that's being shite on was responsible for 3 if our 4 runs. It's baseball. It happens.

What a crazy end to a game.
Felt bad for your 3rd baseman, he went from hero to folks hating him in one play. Granted it was bad, but ouch, still gotta feel for the guy.
Ya'll had a great pitching game plan against us, but should have left that freshman in. Did the final pitcher (tanner burns?) ever not throw a fastball in the inning?
Good game, I thought ya'll had it, but that's baseball.

Ok. That still doesn't change the fact that auburn had the game won and the canadian had a total brain-frick and cost auburn the win. My point is that auburn definitely lost that game more than state won it. It's not like state got a base hit and tied the game with 2 outs, they hit a routine grounder and the Canadian did something very canadian. It doesn't matter now bc it's in the books as a stwte win and they are 1-0 and auburn is 0-1, but everyone knows that auburn should have won that game, but lost it in an epic fashion on an easy play to make. Damn, that sucks for the maple leaf, bc we all know auburn isn't coming back from the losers bracket and their season is over.

Baseball is a weird game. Also experience counts in Omaha. Auburn played well for 8 1/2 innings but the last three outs can be excruciating.
State having experience was huge tonight. Team did not panic even when things looked the worst.
Do feel sorry for Julien. He was great batting but Skelton’s grounder was just a tough break. Yes, hindsight says tag the runner but that is not usually what you do in that situation.
Mangum, Big Mac and Gilbert come through in the clutch. Mangum got it started with a double, MAC in the middle with the big double and Gilbert with the game winner.
What a finish for the Dawgs!!!!

Yeah y’all need to chill a little bit. That is a rough L to take for Auburn. Good job on the rally and I am not taking anything away from State, but just recognize that was tough for Auburn.
