You guys only copy us when it involves the football team.
Gotta admit there would be worse choices than Alabama to attempt to emulate....

Regardless it should never take 4-5 years. If you come in with a complete rebuild, it should still take 3, no more than 4, to build a team.
Hugh Freeze took an 0-8 Ole Miss team and had them winning 9 games by year three.

That's why Florida State will never get back to where they were before. They want Bobby Bowden again but don't want to give any coach the time it takes to build a program like he did.
It took Bowden 17 years to win his first national title.
FSU was a rent a win school prior to Bowden and will be again. It is what they are. If you require Miami and FSU to cheat only as much as most programs UF would be even more of the flagship program in the talent laden state than they already are.

The lowered capacity was a big fail. On most of the games I watched, what fans were there were mostly grouped together. Especially students.
Unless someone is blocking the tunnel anyone in their right mind is going to improve their seating....
It was good to see and hear some marching bands in some of the games though...big part of CFB.

Exactly. You couldn't enter a much worse situation than he did. Freeze also took over a program that didn't have near the recent or overall historical success as FSU has had and had Ole Miss winning at levels they hadn't in more than 50 years by year 3 and had them showing massive improvement in year 1. There really is no excuse for FSU to continue to as shitty as they've been since Jimbo left. If it's a cultural issue, fine, but a championship caliber coach will know how to fix that quickly.

I don't have a desire to go to any games this year, but it makes a big difference to the tv broadcast even having 20k fans vs having artificial noise. When they would switch to the Jags game yesterday on redzone, it was much more pleasant.

Yes but FSU was dominant for most of those 17 years
They weren’t losing to Georgia Tech

I mean, have you seen a lot of Alabama fans? Or State fans?
Let those that made poor life decisions before 2020 stay at home with their masks on in seclusion. I took care of myself and don't need to live in fear.

Should be 50% allowed, just strictly enforce masks.

True, FSU's dominance against a perceived "weak" ACC was similar to what we hear about Clemson today.
That run was mainly pre-BCS, and one of the reasons a unified selection system was instituted in the first place.

Looks like the 4Q of an average LSU game

Pandemic may change attendance at college games going forward
I can tell you, it's not hard to find something else to do on my weekends that doesn't center around football
There are plenty of things I can spend my entertainment money on going forward
