Duke at Notre Dame:

“Adhering to physical distancing requirements necessary to keep our community safe, attendance at this year’s Notre Dame Football games will be limited to 20% or less of Notre Dame Stadium’s normal capacity. Priority will be given to Notre Dame Students, assuring that every student who wants to attend games will be able to do so. Once student demand has been met, the remaining tickets will be made available to Notre Dame Faculty and Staff.”

Notre Dame Stadium is normally 77,622. Twenty percent of that is around 15,500.

Georgia Tech at Florida State:

“Seminole fans will notice immediate differences at the 79,560-seat Doak Campbell Stadium, punctuated by strategically placed chairbacks in the bowl and stickers throughout the seat footprint for students in the north end zone. Attendance for home games will be limited to 25% percent capacity (just under 20,000)...” Tallahassee.com

The unofficial count is 19,700.

We are installing individual chair backs on each bleacher seat to identify seating locations for our fans at Bryant-Denny. #RollTide

UGA installed theirs a few weeks ago in sanford. Just want to point it out now before a bama fan inevitably accuses us of copying them

Even without COVID , an empty stadium could become
the new norm at FSU. After only one game as coach,
the Indian war chanters were calling for
Mike Norvell's head with trending tweets :

FIRE MIKE NORVELL !!!!!!!! Have the same energy with him as y’all did with Tag

I think it is a great idea.

Honestly, I am just glad we have games.

That's why Florida State will never get back to where they were before. They want Bobby Bowden again but don't want to give any coach the time it takes to build a program like he did.

It took Bowden 17 years to win his first national title.

The lowered capacity was a big fail. On most of the games I watched, what fans were there were mostly grouped together. Especially students.

They’ll be the next Tennessee if they keep it up. Bad hires and quick turnover give a program a bad name that good coaches will avoid

Taking that long to win a national championship has become the exception now instead of a rule. Going back to 2000, it has taken a head coach an average of 3-4 seasons to win their first national championship with a program. Mack Brown at Texas (8 seasons) and Dabo Swinney at Clemson (8 seasons) are the only two exceptions.

Those programs that won a national title were pretty well established though and there wasn't as much work that needed to be done to win. Florida State will take at least 4-5 years before they are a national power again

FSU is in better shape than LSU was when Saban took over. Regardless it should never take 4-5 years. If you come in with a complete rebuild, it should still take 3, no more than 4, to build a team. This is also FSU, a team that won a national title in 2013 and is a national brand already. They’re not lacking for a recruiting pool either.

Yeah, and they supposedly already have talent on the roster, per that 24/7 composite thread last week.

All for a virus that you'll survive 100% of the time unless you are very old or very fat.

Watching the Kansas State game the fans for the most part looked spread out....But the student section looked packed shoulder to shoulder. Most looked like they were wearing masks but I was still surprised they were stacked like that.
