MSU is not a top 10 team.

Top 10 teams don’t get swept at home
The one time A&M swept you in Starkville, in 2016, State still won the conference, so one bad weekend is not a killer. Of course, both teams lost home super regionals that year, so maybe you have a point.

LSU is improving and I hope we caught some fire in our bellies this weekend, but our remaining schedule is pretty tough. We need to sweep South Carolina for sure and need to take 2/3 on the road at Ole Miss at worst. Still don't see us above .500 in conference at the end of the season.

If we make a regional, some team will be pissed to get us though. We tend to peak end of the year under Jay.

That’s a crazy take. OU objectively has had a very good year. Hell they were 10th when they lost the first round to Bama 2-1 in the first round in the SEC tournament. How can anyone remove OU from 10th to unranked after losing to a very good team. I don’t remember how the college World Series works anymore but it would be effed up if OU doesn’t get a shot.

it could be a lot more difficult. Outside State and UGA, I like our odds with every other series. None one else on that list is better than 7-5 in the conference (State isn't either for that matter).

D1 must be smoking crack because LSU does not belong anywhere neat a top 25. We are beating up on teams of hapless retards like the University of Tennessee.

That guy was dragging his own team, not yours.
OU still has a good chance to go to a regional. Based on what’s happened in the past, you need 8-9 more conference wins to make a regional. Probably need 11-12 more conference wins to host a regional. I don’t think anyone is counting your boys out.

Seeing Georgia and Alabama ranked ahead of the likes of LSU, MSST, Arkansas, Vanderbilt and TN in baseball is bizarre. You’d think this was a CFB poll. I’m enjoying the hell out of this season but can’t help but hope the wheels don’t fall off.

I think Texas will start to fall this week.

I’m feeling better about our bullpen situation (we moved our Tuesday starter to now being our closer) and so far he’s dealt almost as well as Volantis did last season.

However, our lineup definitely has holes and with Adrian Rodriguez and Jonah Williams out, it’s making our lineup look very susceptible.

We play at A&M this week and they are starting to look good. They’ve got a hell of an offense and just need to figure out their pitching and they will be very dangerous. I’m hoping we can take two, I feel confident in our pitching to take one but who knows. Blue Bell is going to be a tough but fun environment this weekend!

A&M has one reliable starter and not much else. Pitching will be the downfall for A&M this year. Offense is amazing as you would expect with Earley. Now that we aren’t just swinging for the fences each time …

is Grahovac, Sorrell, and Hacopian expected to go to the draft this year?

I assume Sorrell but maybe with Grahovac coming back from injury, it might be better for him to stay another year draft stock wise.

Who’s your starter you mentioned?

We've had natty teams get swept at home by Houston and lose home series to Illinois. Y'all are a good team.

All three will be drafted and sign.

Aiden Sims, our Sunday starter (up to this point), has been the best starter. I wouldn't be surprised to see him start Friday, and he pitched on Friday for our doubleheader with Vandy, so that would put him on regular rest.

Weston Moss has been up and down. Shane Sdao has been nuts -- he will give up four or five homeruns, but strikeout double digits, too. I will be surprised if the order is Sdao, Moss, and Sims for this weekend, as it has been up to this point. Clayton Freshcorn has been pretty good as a closer. The rest of the bullpen is a crapshoot.
