how is LSU ranked ahead of Auburn in baseball America 
It's incredible how inconsistent these rankings are. I understand Auburn hasn't beat anyone that great. But after watching our first 12 games I can't imagine us ranked ahead of ANYONE in the SEC until we can prove we have more than 4 guys that can make consistent solid contact.

We’ve got to have some things break our way for that to happen. I like us to host a regional site and maybe be a national seed if we are lucky. We’ve got to play at Florida, at Vandy, at Arkansas, and at A&M with Ole Miss, Auburn, and Tennessee all coming to Athens. But biggest thing is avoiding these god damn ACC teams of destiny we’ve encountered the past 2 years in Duke and FSU.

While I am on cloud nine right now because we have had such a great start, we aren't all that great really and we have tons of places we need to improve. We will get knocked off our lofty perch soon enough and then we will see how this team deals with adversity. Hopefully it is sooner rather than later. frick that #1 ranking it is poison.
BTW, LSU has some outstanding starting pitching and your hitting will come around. That was a gem your Sunday guy threw.

Hopefully these publications are nuanced enough, that Lsu is hanging in the top 25 because our pitching has been fantastic. The bullpen has a couple arms that would start for everybody just about.
I hope it's not just because of our name, because it would be nice to know that these polls are taken seriously by the voters.

Because he’s using it to directly imply that Tennessee is better than LSU, and has done so in multiple threads. I don’t believe that to be the case

Todd Raleigh signed a few of those. I'd also like to see some substance behind this claim. Tennessee wasn't even in the top 25 in Baseball America's or D1's rankings. Where is this elite class stuff coming from?
