Ever CFB playoff has had at least one blowout. What’s your point?
God, Clemson fans give L1U fans a run for their money on being idiots.

Clemson message board fans are by far the dumbest I've come across. It's not even close.

I think college baseball is better now than it has been in years. Stadiums are upgrading like crazy which means more people want to be involved.
Sorry that your team blows and you were the last pick in little league.

College baseball is better than it ever was. More schools take cbb seriously than ever before. More people actually attend the games.

College baseball is the biggest money loser at nearly every university aside form a very small few.

4 hour games, blowout after blowout, intentional stalling tactics, analytic based stuff ruining gameplay, scholarship imbalances between programs and plenty more.
Was more fun in the 90s and 00s.
Disagree

I've told yaw about klimpson fans. They are the dumbest know it alls on the planet. You should go to one of their message boards and see them talk football. No wonder the majority of the team has to come from other states.

Pro sports are boring as hell lol
Pro Football is the only pro sport that is even tolerable to watch.

Give up the softball bats, and then maybe it will resemble real baseball
The bats are no longer juiced. They are virtually the same as wooden bats now. They use metal bats because they cheaper on the smaller schools (and maybe because the mfg has influenced it).

Even SEC schools who take baseball very seriously lose money on the sport. The expenses on college Baseball are just very high.
only lsu and A&M make good money

You watching Division 3 baseball maybe? I don't think you know what you're talking about.

Yep, bigger rosters than any sport but football. More travel than any other sport, and operating costs are probably more than any other sport but football and basketball. Only thing that helps baseball is there are only 2 paid assistants allowed on staff and their salaries are, generally speaking, very small for most D1 schools

The University of Alabama operated at a loss of just over $21 million dollars for the year, which was the worst in the SEC. According to the report, Alabama, Missouri and Ole Miss were the only league members who posted a loss. Vanderbilt, a private institution, did not disclose their financial data. That information is not subject to open records requests.
Five SEC schools posted more than a $10 million dollar profit: Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi State and Texas A&M. Mississippi State was the lone SEC program to spend less than $100 million on athletics.
John Cohen was named the Mississippi State director of athletics on November 4th, 2016. Since that time, the Bulldogs have seen department revenue increase each year. For the athletic years of 2017, 2018 and 2019, the Bulldogs have generated over $100 million each year with a school record $112 million this past year.
Despite the fact that Dudy Noble Field was renovated and other facilities have been upgraded in recent years, Mississippi State is far from cash poor. Despite competing with a lower operating budget than most of the SEC, the Bulldogs have put a quality product on the field and turned record profits.

I certainly wish Clemson was better. I remember in the 2000s when football wasn’t great, baseball was very popular at Clemson because we got national seeds most years.
It used to be a disappointing season to not host a regional. But the Clemson fanbase has grown a bit complacent on baseball thanks to football. We now have people acting like simply making the tournament is ok and even this year with our first losing year since 1957, there are local radio hosts defending the coach.

This is one of the more incorrect posts out there. College baseball has been great. Yes the run numbers have gone up from the BBCOR time, but they are at a good level. The whole columbia regional was close, that UT/UVA game was close until one inning late, the MSU/UT game was really good. This postseason has been absolutely fantastic for good baseball
the 90's and 2000's were the gorilla ball era, with dudes hitting 30 bombs in a year. You wanna talk about blowouts...38-16 USC over Clemson in 97', 15-1 Clemson over USC in 97', USC 21-8 in 2001. Are these the close games you were talking about? Those first two happened in two weeks apart.
and they all happened in smaller ball parks with less eyes watching.
