When I was there, the place was deafening. My freshman year was 1985, and the Texas game that year literally had my ears ringing for almost 2 days. The Texas QB stood at the LOS for several minutes because he couldn't hear.

Face it, aggy ruined a great deal of their so-called spirit when they ran away from TEXAS, knowing full well when they did that the series was over (we told you as much).

You nailed it. Kyle field was devastating back in the 80’s. Now not so much, even with the best 100,000 fans you’ll ever meet

On the “Campus Insiders” show on Stadium, a coaches poll of 130 FBS coaches revealed that two SEC teams were in the top five of most difficult stadium venues. LSU topped the list, followed by Clemson, Washington, Penn State and Texas A&M.

Bama's record at :
LSU: 28-9-2, overall: 53-25-5
Clemson: 2-0, overall: 14-5
Washington: 1-0, overall: 5-0
Penn State: 4-2, overall: 10-5
Texas A&M: 4-0, overall: 9-2

39-9-2 in the "top five most difficult stadium venues" in college football. Not bad. Small, thus almost meaningless, sample size for most. Bama's record in BR is one of the more remarkable feats in American sports.

Bama has always been a great road team. Have a winning record as the visitor vs every SEC opponent (as host as well). Most series have been played at multiple venues.

LSU's Tiger Stadium being a tough place to play is the biggest myth in the country.

Was it not loud when you played there? You must have played there to claim it as a myth, right?

TigerStadiumIsNotLoudGate....? Coaches acting like damn politicians now huh?

Bama owns Tiger Stadium.

After tomorrow, Bama will have won 76 of their last 80 home games. Best in the nation in that time.

A couple of those wins for LSU in Tigah Stadium were with Saban as their coach.

This says 28-8-2:

It's killing you. You have a difficult venue and still have won a paltry 8 out of 41 tries against your master. Gumps loving this thread.

Btw, Bama has never claimed to have a great home advantage. A bunch of burned-out winners. Winning is not boring but it's like a drug, takes more and more to get excited. Bama only gets loud when threatened - it just doesn't happen much - then they get nervous. "You mean we might lose - oh, no." And the road is almost like home.

As bad as that is, in my lifetime LSU has won 4 times in BR and I was at all of them. That’s pretty good considering the all time record. I don’t remember the 06 game much. Might have to look that up.

Bama being a good team has nothing to do with BDS being Sunday dinner at grandmas. Even Nick complains about the fans.

After a while, it gets repeated so much that people just believe it and parrot it. Very sad.

Bear Bryant disagrees with you. So does SVP & the rest of the world.
