At his previous stops, he has never had to deal with former players that won heismans and had historic success.
Coach Kiffin will learn from this first experience at a big time program and be better from it.

I'd wager dealing with the Manning shadow and influence at Ole Miss was a heavier cross to bear than any fallout over some petty young man who was a flash in the pan at LSU.

He coached at USC. He failed miserably at his dream job there as well. He isn't made for the spotlight, and it will be fun to watch

JD5 will eventually get his mother to shut up, and will be proud for Pickett to assume his # this upcoming year.

Hopefully you have learned from this experience of being called out for being an idiot and now you can be better for it.

They weren’t his biggest fan. Not sure what the backstory is but they distanced themselves from him

Kffin is why Arch ended up in Austin. Manning didn't even consider Ole Miss because of him

Started with Peyton's dislike for him after what he did in Knoxville. From what I've been told Archie thinks Lane is a great coach but is immature, selfish, and not a good man outside of football.
Hard to argue with that.

Stick to the main thread that isn't a sophomoric and lame slight to Ole Miss.

Kiffin puts hisself in tough situations.
Just like blaming girls for toxic relationships. Maybe it's Lane

Not being "made for the spotlight" isn't why he failed at USC. He just wasn't ready overall. If he was in that job today, he'd fare much better.
