Although I like more than dislike Bielema and enjoy watching his teams play he's not precise enough, disciplined enough, or good enough to get any football job better than the one he has. He's kept it interesting but at the end of the day he loses too much. He could never get a top 10 job.

Any way you wanna try to justify it, Arkansas is looking you guys in the eyes. Literally the only so called football power in this conference we don't look up at, and in all other athletic events we look down on you guys.

Historically its really only the Big Red 1 with Tennessee having a decent run in the 50s and Florida in the 90s.

But hop on to the coat tails of the "Big 6" Aubies, latch on tight, and don't let go, its all you have.

I think he likes the underdog role honestly, though I think he'd be lethal with a program that brings in top 5 classes every year

I would suggest the Bama games so you can see a team on the field actually compete with Bama at their own game for a change

True y'all only lost by 13 compared to our 14.

What happened against Mullen and sumlin? Are they leaving with Saban.
OOC is not Berts friend either: Toledo and Texas tech (who miles beat).

You do well against LSU. Ark is still not a good program yet. OP is an LSU fan basing Bert of off the LSU games. He expects a guy who can't sign a top 20 class to replace a guy that can't sign anything but the #1 class lol.

You have miles' stubborn offensive philosophy figured out I'll give you that. Put a season together now

Well thought out. Thanks. I'll buy it once he wears a ring, but agree that his approach 'could' pay dividends.

Petrino had the offense, but he was never going to be able to stop Bama's offense or LSU's because of their physical play while the had the talent on defense to neutralize his offense.

Nutt had some solid defenses but always in a year he had bad QBs or no depth at RB. You can see what that will get you even today by watching LSU play, they have had some good defensive teams, but the offense won't get out of their way.

It will all come down to the defensive side of the ball for Bert's success within the league.

No, they aren't.

Auburn has won 3 SEC Championships since Arkansas joined the SEC, had 3 undefeated seasons, 1 National Championship win and was a participant in another National Championship. 11-6 in bowl games.

Arkansas? Well, they've participated in 3 SEC Championships, but got dominated in each of them. 6-8 in bowl games since joining the SEC.

If Miles can keep his job at LSU, Charlie Strong can lead Texas and Butch Jones hasn't been killed by a brick then BB could eventually end up at a Top 10 school...if he wanted

Now you're acting like a child. No one disagree's Alabama rules the roost. I grew up in that state and understand it very well. Everyone disagree's with all things Arky, especially due to the chest being I see on here.

Don't be foolish. AU isn't Alabama nor do they need to be. They will only continue winning their fair share of conference titles and get to play for it all from time to time. Good for me. Arky good with where they are?

Yeah, it's not like they won a National and SEC Championship in 2010. That didn't happen.

Id call them a team that lost to an inferior program 2 years in a row. Similar to every non-troll in the US without razorback apparel. Pretty simple, LSU had a better record both years, against mostly common opponents also.

You watch ole miss vs Bama the last two years? Who is the better program

Vs UA, AU, MSU, OM, A&M, TT:
LSU: 4-2
Ark: 2-4
^ you won head to head and have looked impressive against LSU. I give you credit there.

You are not top third of the conference: not by brand/national appeal, not by championship odds, not by record, not by recruiting.

What's funny is Arkansas was the second team from the west to play in the SEC CG, years before Auburn or LSU was able to do so.

Its 2016 now. I understand you rode the last one for 52 years, I guess your going to get every mile possible out of this one as well.

Its also been 500+ days since Auburn's last SEC win at home.

So elite.

Agree op. I thought it was a good hire even when many arky fans hated it. I felt it would have been a mistake to let him go after the 0-16 sec start. Looks like the AD was right.
