Seen on crutches on campus, per Charles Hanagriff, rumored to be a hamstring or an ankle. Only speculation right now but likely out for playoffs if in fact true. Waiting for official word.

We'll miss his receiving abilities and spin move the most. I think TDP and Emery will be able to compensate in the run game, but neither run routes/know the playbook like CEH.

Trent Richardson was in a boot his entire time at Alabama allegedly, so hopefully it’s just that sort of thing.

rumor circulating is a torn hamstring. That wouldn't be likely to heal before the playoffs are over. Hopefully the rumors aren't true. Even discounting what he brings to the running/passing game with the ball in his hands, he's been, by far, the best blocker among all of our running backs.

A torn hamstring can take over a year to heal, and often times are easy to reoccur.

Other than the OP relaying a rumor, I see nothing about his injury anywhere. Seems a little odd that someone would have not picked up on it by now.

yep, that injury basically derailed Griffey's career. He dealt with issues for years. Obviously, there are varying degrees of a tear. Hopefully Clyde is just a minor roadblock for him moving forward
