A source close to South Pointe DE Jadeveon Clowney of South Pointe said Thursday night Clowney has basically made his decision but is not 100% there yet. The source said Clowney knows where he wants to go but is still checking on things to make absolutely sure.
The source said Clowney doesn't want a repeat of what OL Cyrus Kouandjio went thru on Signing Day. Kouandjio announced a commitment to Auburn on ESPNU but has yet to sign with the Tigers after having second thoughts.
Clowney's coach Bobby Carroll has said in recent weeks he beleives Clowney has been favoring USC. A second source said Thursday night that that remains the case.

SC fans... have yall recently gotten a new atheletic director? I only ask because it seems a lot of good things have been happening in Cock athletics. NC in baseball, east title in football, and an improving young basketball team (should be very tough next year) Football expansion seems to be very close as well. Just curious
