I could've sworn UGA fans harping on Davis' loss against Florida, but it sounds like Carter is better.

At this point he's not better. Davis is a beast but could come back to raise his draft stock. And to be fair, Carter has come on strong the last two games to make people somewhat forget about Davis.

not sure how your defining "great" but the level of play by Smith and Carter are no where near those guys.

It could be close eventually but they need more reps

When did I say they were?

And honestly Chris Smith has been fantastic.

Davis is an elite nose tackle. Carter is a good nose tackle. As a freshman that’s exciting. I never said it wouldn’t be a loss, just that it won’t be a weakness next year. Nice try at putting words in my mouth though

I see you got a little beef with me since I called out your subtle stat threads!

Great player but Jalen Carter has done great as a 5* freshman filling in for him.

Davis is better right now and will most likely be coming back.

He has only played 2.5 years once this season is done.

Coming back and he will be a first round pick in 2022 draft.

You described one as "great" and the other as "fantastic"

Compared to who? It has to be put in context

No I didn’t. I said Carter has done a great job of filling for Davis as a freshman. Which is true.

Chris Smith has been fantastic though. Like I said, he is the highest graded SEC safety in PFF this year.

Subtle stat threads?

I posted this in the other thread, but do you realize I posted daily baseball threads last year for a month until the season was shut down?

You sure do “could have sworn” a lot. Maybe you should just say “I’d hoped”.

When are UGA fans going to stop talking about this "elite" defense of theirs? They've given up 41 to Alabama and 44 to Florida. Look, I'm not saying we wouldn't give up some points against these teams, but our defense doesn't get the same reputation that UGA's does. Why does a defense full of 5 stars get run over every time they play a good offense?

Nah, I got bookmarks of your fellow fans complaining about the injuries against UF.

Just commenting on that it’s interesting now see UGA fans talking up some of those backups that were playing as being “great” next year.

Oh what fun, you baws are way too easy!

Because that’s what happens in modern college football more often than not

Interesting... I heard y’all lost to Florida because LeCount was out... you’re telling me Smith is better? Lol

We're going to be likely returning 14 starters with backups that have had plenty of playing time.

NT don’t get drafted in the first round. The best nose tackle in the draft will be lucky to go day 2. They are 1 down players in the NFL.
