2018 was the greatest bammer team in history before the beatdown in Santa Clara. Only when the sec is down. Delusional much?

Near zero chance that White returns IMHO, though honestly, there's an argument to be made that Kenny McIntosh may be the most complete back on the team currently.

Trey Hill having arthroscopic surgery by most accounts is timed so that he can be healed and ready in time for combine/pro day work (whatever that ends up looking like). Not sure there is much that another season does for him unless we're able to move him to guard, where he projects in the NFL.

Outside of that, Jamaree Salyer is definitely a risk to leave. I think he benefits from returning, but similar to Hill's conditional, it kind of depends on whether we can get 2 OTs performing at a high enough level to move him inside.

DRob mentioned that he hasn't ruled out returning for an additional season, but probably would guess it's 60/40 against right now unless he just gets an atrocious draft grade (6+). He just had a kid IIRC, and I have to think that he'll prioritize money for family if it's at all feasible.

Beyond that, there will also be some portal attrition. Some speculation that at least one wide receiver and probably an OL or two will look elsewhere. Until we see what that looks like, tough to gauge where things will shake out.

NT - Jalen Carter

We need to find a way for this not to be a thing. He's so much more valuable not playing nose. Both for the team and for his own development and growth.

OLB - Adam Anderson/ Walter Grant or Robert Beal
MLB - Quay Walker
WLB - Channing Tindall

Not sure how many of these guys will be on the team honestly. I'm anticipating some loss at LB to the portal, but coaches will have to work on some dudes to try and avoid losses that hurt more.

CB - Tyson Campbell

Still a better than decent chance he's gone to the NFL. I think he's a player that would benefit by coming back, but if we're being honest, we would need a bit of a shift in coaching our DBs toward actually playing balls in the air.

I could've sworn UGA fans harping on Davis' loss against Florida, but it sounds like Carter is better.

Good to know.

Gators heart intellectual dishonesty.

Literally no one said he was performing better. Doing an admirable job filling in means that we still miss the player that he's replacing, and in addition, it means we had to sub someone else into *his* role on the line as a DT. So drop off at 2 positions as a result of the shift.

Davis is a beast but could come back to raise his draft stock

I would be utterly shocked if Davis returned. I am just not sure there is anything else for him to show that would get him picked up any earlier than 3rd round *maybe* an outside shot at late 2nd if a team has a very specific need/scheme.

He's been injured the past 2 years. He can play himself into the 1st or 2nd round with a good year next year.

o reason for this offense to be outside the top 3 in conference

Agree with this.Offense should be loaded across the board if everyone comes back healthy.

I hope the excuses finally end for Kirby next year

Sorry, there were legit excuses for what went sideways this season.ANY team would be affected by the opt outs and injuries we had on both sides.

Florida will be a major rebuild.

Many Gators on here disagree with ya .I think you happen to be right although the defense should be improved IMO.

What? Where is this coming from?

There really isn't. Cook has been our most explosive RB and best threat as a receiver out of the backfield. Theres no doubt he plays on Sundays and hope he sticks around

Like who? Seth Emerson? Chip Towers? Is this anything other than speculation on your part?

Nah, I got bookmarks of your fellow fans complaining about the injuries against UF.

Just commenting on that it’s interesting now see UGA fans talking up some of those backups that were playing as being “great” next year.

You think the idea of a true freshman linemen improving as a sophomore is interesting? It should be common sense, but this football thing just might be over your head.

Rex Grossman,

Lecounte was just one of many injuries, and Smith isnt better than him.

We’ve won 3 NCs since your last title, which was in 1980 lol.

It’s 2020 and no one cares about games UGA won in the 70s against us. UGA would kill to be us.

Helps a lot to be lucky and play ACC ball. Odds go WAY up, as Clemson has proven.

Stephenson is not going anywhere.

Mainstays on the D will be Cine, Stephenson, Carter, Smith, Dean, Ringo, Walker, Anderson, Tindall, Quay Walker, Ojulari and Campbell if the last 2 stay.

That's not a bad group at all.
