Look, I'm not saying we wouldn't give up some points against these teams, but our defense doesn't get the same reputation that UGA's does. Why does a defense full of 5 stars get run over every time they play a good offense

Georgia hasn’t realized defense is all about timely stops now. We’ll never see another elite defense with these offenses again.

e're going to be likely returning 14 starters with backups that have had plenty of playing time.

Awesome you should breeze right through the all cupcake conference again. You’ll still probably lose to Georgia.

He plays DT as well, he is a beast on the line and we have noticeable drop off without him.

Chris Smith is the only one who is not in the top 45 or a 5 star.

You said they were all 5*. You said nothing about top 45 players. And more than Chris Smith were not. Logue, Quay, Stevenson, nor Cine.

You just keep showing us how little you actually know about football and I'll keep calling you out on it

I’m not taking up for anybody just calling it like I see it. Clemson only wins Natty’s when the SEC is down. SEC should be strong next year. Clemson working in a new qb who’s not as talented as Trevor. Why do you expect to win? Deshaun Watson coming back?

It doesn’t matter, QB’s, Tackles, WR’s, Pass Rushers, Cornerbacks are your first rounders. If you don’t effect the passing game expect to go 3rd-7th Round. Just the way it is now, with few exceptions. Gentleman might draft him.

No reason for this offense to be outside the top 3 in conference. I hope the excuses finally end for Kirby next year. If he can’t do it in 21, he just isn’t going too. Florida will be a major rebuild.

What does the collective quality of the SEC have to do with whether or not Clemson wins a Natty? Clemson beat an Alabama team in 2016 and 2018 that steamrolled their SEC opponents, but they can only play that one team that represents the conference, correct? Whether or not the SEC was up or down is irrelevant; Clemson beat what was by far the best SEC team those years -would playing an inferior SEC team(s) have really made a difference?

Depends on if the SEC allows their programs to put their toes in a non-conference pond next year.

Crap dude. Are you insinuating that Clemson was being brave to play The Citadel this year?

I’m assuming J Ross will be back at WR for Clemson. Huge piece of the puzzle missing this year in the offense. Clemson hasn’t been able to stretch the field like they had been with Higgins and Ross.

There are rumblings he may be back for the conference championship or playoffs.

Dude. You think Florida had a strong team in 2016?

In 2016 the SEC had one team in the top 12. That kind of supports his point, doesn't it?

I don't follow Clemson. Where have they been playing him?

He’s been out hurt all season. I read before season start it was possible career ending. If the info in this thread is true it seems that wasn’t the case.
