Why because they beat UGA? Mind you two years ago UGA lost their opener to Boise St. Should they join too? Then when they lose to Wake Forest and Maryland you'll want them out again?

Lets not get carried away, They beat Georgia and LSU last year so now they should be in the SEC? I guess ULM should be in the SEC b/c they beat Bama and Arkansas. In he end Clemson will always be Clemson. 1 or 2 good seasons doesn't make them SEC worthy.

As an A&M guy I will stand by my USC brethren (the only one of which I can recall at the moment has "Aggie Fans - I Hate 'Em" as his signature) and reject Clemson now and forever. I trust USC fans will likewise reject the Longhorns. (You know it's the right thing to do, Cocks.)

I'd love to add them, Florida State, Virginia Tech, and North Carolina (kicking out Mizzou and Arky), but there is a pact between many of the teams in the east regarding in state rivals.
Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and South Carolina will not allow another team from their footprint in for recruiting reasons. As long as those four schools act in sequence to block any instate rivals from entry (Florida State, Miami, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Clemson), they have enough votes to veto any inclusion of a team within the current SEC footprint. Add in the fact that the SEC only wants to expand into untapped media markets and you have Clemson staying in the ACC.
