Clemson fans successfully bully SC commit into apologizing for comment

If I wanted to throw shots I would've directly said it to a fan, player, or Clemson football player. It was completely out of my character to say what I said. Some people took it the wrong way and that wasn't my intentions. I do apologize once again. I am confident in my future squad! I also am confident in what I said. The most hypersensitive, self-righteous fan base in America. They have zero sense of humor, no ability to self-deprecate and act like a cult does when challenged with any viewpoint that differs from theirs. This is a team that just won the national championship in football and they get bent out of shape over a comment made by a kid who hasn't even played a down of college football. How miserable do you have to be to do that? And we have to live next to and work with these douchebags.

Also, the Clemson/USCe game is so far away that its not going to motivate the Clemson players to come after his arse. They are going to forget all about his comments by game time.

And he didn't even backtrack on what he said. He just apologized if Clemson fans were offended.
His statement kind of makes Clemson fans look like the real snowflakes.
This is yet another story about the Gamecocks that I wouldn't know about if it weren't for Clemson fans.

I hate it when people apologize so quickly over the slightest bitching, he had nothing to apologize for. If they're offended over something like that, that's their problem.

I feel sorry for the kid.
He was a big Clemson fan, and now he's bitter he has to play in Columbia. I don't blame him for going as he is convinced he's a QB, and that was his only real QB offer, but that statement he made was just a display of how pissed off he is at the whole situation. Wish he'd agreed to play DB and have a shot at playing post-college, but he's a proud kid.
Do even USCe fans think he'll be a starting quarterback?
