Scheduling the entire season's windows pre-season has got to stop.

The preseason tv time scheduling isn’t worth it.

It’s really not that big of a deal to know tv times prior to season.

Yeah...it's pretty crazy how ALL of those games are going to be happening at pretty much the same time.

I’m sitting here struggling to come up with anything gayer than a Clay Travis TikTok and I’m hitting a wall. I think that’s quite possibly the gayest something can be.

The preseason window selection isn’t that bad.

Alabama @ Tennessee had the Flex window assigned in preseason and TV still put them in late afternoon slot instead of night slot.

Flex: Games flexed between the Afternoon (3:30-4:30 p.m.) and Night (6-8 p.m.) windows

The SEC needs to renegotiate the TV deal and guarantee a premiere prime time night game every week.

Kentucky @ Oklahoma and Arkansas @ Vanderbilt were also assigned Flex.

The most egregious Florida @ Texas being assigned Early slot in preseason.

Can't blame ABC. They only had two opportunities to air Notre Dame and Miami all season in primetime and they took them. Pretty cool for Fowler and Herbstriet, every week they're announcing a team that will be in the playoff. They will be well prepared for the playoff come time. ABC/ESPN have to cater to the non SEC fan too. The crown jewel is the CFP and they're building a narrative to lead up to the event.

I don't mind, we went two decades with the best SEC game being at 2:30. I actually really want to watch the Notre Dame-BYU game. Just be glad your team isn't in Ohio State's situation of being stuck in Big Noon hell.

That’s fine.

The problem is refusing to put the best SEC on at same time on ESPN (and instead choosing one of the worst SEC games) because they want to try and force people to watch the ABC game.

Who is clay travis.

I seriously thought clay travis wanted the Rush Limbaugh spot.

Is that a different guy?

Yeah, but that was a pivot after his many years of being a small time sports commentator. It did not last long and he is back to sports as his main focus.

Have an upvote.

ESPN's strategy around night games has shifted. They no longer view the night game as the main event. They want to keep the Gameday crowd tuned in as long as possible. ND @ BYU also features two undefeated and likely playoff teams whereas I think's Tennessee's odds are pretty long at this juncture.

We deserve a great prime time sec matchup. Not having one defeats the purpose of the espn deal
