In light of Kentucky's claim of the 1950 national championship, I move that the SEC Rant officially make a list of each school's national championship claims. I'm claiming 3 national championships for Mizzou.
1909: Mizzou went undefeated (7-0-1) and won the Missouri Valley Conference (now the Big 12).
1960: Mizzou went undefeated (11-0) and won the Big 8 Conference (now the Big 12). They also won the Orange Bowl over #4 ranked Navy. Missouri was named the National Champion by the Poling System.
2007: Mizzou went 12-2 with their only 2 losses coming to Oklahoma. They won the Big 12 North and beat Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl 38-7. Missouri finished the regular season 11-1 and ranked #1. Mizzou was named the National Champion by the Anderson and Hester system. The Anderson and Hester system was one of the six NCAA recognized computer rankings used in the BCS polls.

While there was no official method for naming a national championship in the sport during the system's existence, it is considered to have been a "National Champion Major Selector" by the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

There was one year that we didn't get scored on the whole year. Like 1908 or something. I thought we had to pic the ONE that we would most like to claim.
Yeah, we can make a claim for 2004, 1993, 1983, and then 2 more that were in the 00's when Mike Donahue was coach.

Claiming mythical national championships from the old, old days is up for debate and totally fine.
Trying to claim anything in the era of organized championship games is completely absurd.
It's effectively the same as some team who didn't win the Super Bowl claiming they were actually NFL champions for that year.
Claiming anything except AP/Coaches poll titles since the 60's/70's is also a joke, there's a reason almost no schools actually do.
At that point the concept of a "national champion" was taken pretty seriously and the two major polls became the defacto crowners.

In 1984, the 9-1-1 Gator team was deemed to be “National Champions” by 21 of the 47 rating entities, more than any other college, and one more, in fact, than the “recognized” champion, BYU.
Besides Sagarin, the Massy Ratings (also currently used by the BCS), the New York Times, the Sporting News, and 17 other entities put the Gators number 1.

I included all of your claims in the OP except for 2013 unless you can convince me otherwise. I don't see the argument for 2013.
