My granddaughter is in her first year of marching band (middle school). She’s 13 years old and she’s putting in WORK. Just watching her over band camp and now summer practice has convinced me that I will NEVER boo any band, no matter what the school (that includes Army)! Those kids do it for the love of Music and I will always support that. I picked her up from band practice yesterday and those kids were doing drills in 92 degree heat. Nothing but respect!

No but our band punched auburns kicker and he pussied out

I had a couple of friends in the MDB. Those old outfits with their headgear were like wearing WWI uniforms, they sweated their behinds off from pregame on the Quad until post game. Both told me it was common to shed some pounds on September Saturdays. Nothing but respect.

I see someone’s knowledge of John Philip Sousa is on par with that of a Labrador Retriever.
The Aggie band looks like a bunch of ants on an ant pile when they do their precision JPS routines.

Only band I've ever just been completely fed up with. God I hate that song and they constantly play it.

I can't remember a game in the past 20 years where both bands performed at halftime like they used to. Very few SEC schools send the entire band because it takes away from the fan ticket allotment.
A&M and LSU.
People knocking A&Ms band's music, but they're very impressive.

No, why would you boo the opposing band at halftime? Makes no sense to me!

I'd boo the A&M band. I think they suck

No, it just means your weird band’s renditions of those numbers did not do them justice, so I boo’d.
Well that is not what you said, which makes you look even more ignorant. So ignorant in fact that you just keep digging yourself in deeper. But you be you.

Print the cups. What a year that was for y'all. There is nothing patriotic about your band other than the fact that they play bad covers of traditional military marches.

Nobody knows more about sucking than an LOLSU fan. Y'all are pros. You even suck tiger dick. That takes some guts or ignorance.

The only time I’ve ever considered booing a band was during last year’s aTm game, when their band showed an incredible lack of class by playing while the LSU Alma Mater was being played before the game. I’ve seen some pretty low-class behavior over the years, but that had to rank among the worst. It was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Unfortunately, I guess it also says something about how low some in your fanbase are willing to go.

I seem to have struck a nerve. I’m sorry my opinion upsets you. I was unaware that your band was attempting to play American Military songs because clearly it sounded more like a German polka to the non Aggie ear. It’s like if a band tried to cover some Led Zeppelin or Deep Purple but they played in the style of Barry Manilow.

I am sorry they hurt your feelings. I did not know that happened but my guess would be that they did not realize LOLSU was playing their school song.

That does not mean much coming from a fanbase who treats opposing fanbases with more disrespect than any other SEC team. I have had beer thrown on me, been cussed out while we had kids with us and had other things thrown at us while attending a game at Death Valley and we were with LOLSU fans at the time. They were even throwing stuff at our car as we were leaving in an LOLSU fans car. The only fan base that I have encountered that is as bad as LOLSU is Texas Tech.

You probably had a tiger dick in your ear at the time. Seems to be a pretty common thing among LOLSU fans.

My feelings aren't hurt at all. I just think it's very low class of the aTm band doing that. All I can say is if your band didn't realize it, maybe the admission standards for the band should be addressed.

I also agree that what those LSU fans did to you was extremely low-class. As someone who is older, I honestly cringe when I read about behavior like that. I feel the same way when I’m sitting in Tiger Stadium and hear the STTDB chant. I consider it very low-class and inappropriate, especially with families and children sitting nearby. I know plenty of LSU fans disagree with me, but I really don’t care. That’s simply how I feel, and I think we should expect better from our fanbase.
There is no excuse for that type of behavior.
