I do so in the most hyperbolic and ironic way where it should be obvious that its a joke, but there is one particular visiting band every other year I boo with intention

Was coming to say that. When ATM started playing their Nazi Germany era propaganda polka style music on our field last year I boo'd.

No.
Who boos a band?
ETA now we know: knuckle-dragging morons who still marvel at the invention of the wheel.

How many times do you want to hear Rocky Top in your stadium before booing?

I’ve never seen that happen before. I remember Georgia having an incredible majorette throwing the batons sky high with fire and doing crazy stuff. This was probably around like 2008. The student section for Auburn was cheering her on big time.

Can you guys elaborate on this?

Been attending UK games since the mid-90s. Heard more of that noise than I care to remember.
That said, still not as bad as Boomer Gooner.
But I’ve never booed a band.

I guess if the Strategic Air Command March, the Guadalcanal March and Ballad of the Green Berets are considered Nazi music, then I guess you are even more ignorant than most people on this board

I see someone’s knowledge of John Philip Sousa is on par with that of a Labrador Retriever.

I have never boo'ed a band before. I have laughed at a few, especially Rice University. They don't call them the Mob for nothing.

I can't remember a game in the past 20 years where both bands performed at halftime like they used to. Very few SEC schools send the entire band because it takes away from the fan ticket allotment.

No, it just means your weird band’s renditions of those numbers did not do them justice, so I boo’d.
