Louisiana State and Mississippi next on the chopping block?

You as a conference don't win 5 in a row with 5 different winners and get fraud checked in one year....
so the short answer is no
so the short answer is no

As the #3 seed we eliminated the #1 seed (Clemson) in our region and made the regional final. Pretty sure we’re the last SEC team to get in, so I believe we overperformed.

The SEC has been cranking out NCAA contenders for a while now.
SEC no longer has to reserve money for the revenue sports so I dont know why this trend will end.

It's baseball. Weird shite happens.
That said, I personally think Vandy got overrated from their late heater and Texas' record didn't match their statistical output.
Georgia just flat out shite the bed. No real explanation there.

Arkie and AU are in the Supers.
LSU, OMiss, OU and Tenn are playing today for spots in the Supers.
SEC Postmortems must wait til everyone has LOST.

What's more impressive is all the mid majors still winning against teams that take away their best players from the portal

Nah. They played about like what they usually play. Lot of home runs, shaky starting pitchers, and an awful bullpen.

That's what I love about baseball.

No conference should EVER get 13 of 16 teams in the tournament. The fallout is not surprising.

Still have 6 teams vying for Supers. It's the depth that matters, moron.

Then, they will hit the portal and go to another big school.
It's a vicious circle.

It's not just the SEC is the thing. I can't remember the actual seeding numbers, but in D1B's rankings:
#1 North Carolina is fighting to avoid elimination - from an unranked SEC team.
#2 Vanderbilt got eliminated 0–2.
#3 LSU is fighting to avoid elimination.
#4 Texas got eliminated.
#5 Oregon got eliminated 0–2.
#8 Oregon State is fighting to avoid elimination.
#10 Georgia got eliminated.
#12 Southern Miss is fighting to avoid elimination.
#14 Clemson got eliminated - by an unranked SEC team.
#15 Ole Miss is fighting to avoid elimination.
#16 Tennessee is fighting to avoid elimination.
