How this has happened to UT is mind boggling to me. Growing up, UT was a super power.

They were never a superpower. They were good but certainly not that. Fl beat them almost every year.

I remember UGA/UT being 1 of the biggest matchups of the season.

I remember Florida fricking them up every year that they thought they were good.

Then Tee Martin and Peerless Price got lucky with a couple of bombs.

I do. It was fun to watch the Tennessee Florida game early in the year. Some great games. I can’t believe they have been so bad for so long. Maybe they are turning the corner but they have been here before only to fall all the way back down.

When I was a kid Tennessee was great and Alabama was shitty. I remember thinking “why would Nick Saban go to a shitty has been program like Alabama?”

They need to continue to rot in hell as long as Fat Rat Fulmer is drawing breath.

Vols used to make fun of uga for going 19 years without a sec title. They are well on their way to 22 and likely beyond, and the sec is better off for it.

Remember Ole Miss playing Tennessee in a de facto SEC Championship game in 1990, times have changed indeed.
