If squandered equals not winning a Natty, I will grant you that. I am not one of the mindless trolls here on the rant that thinks a season was unsuccessful if you don’t win a natty. By that standard, Clemson was the only successful team in 2018. Some of you people have to live vicariously through your team because you don’t win in many other areas. There is one simple face regarding UGA football. Unless your name is Alabama, you have not been more successful than UGA the past two seasons. If you are in the East, you haven’t beaten Kirby Smart in 2 years.
Gurley won the East in 2012.
Chubb and Michelle won the East and SEC for 2017 season. They also won a College football Playoff game.
No team in the SEC besides UGA and BAMA have won any Playoff games.

While LSU and Bama have usually had that 1 stud at RB in the past, UGA has had an embarrassment of riches at the position. Holyfield this year was a stud as well.
