Glad they scrapped the large screen. Looked a bit ridiculous to me.

Ditto. I liked the glass siding and all that, hated the giant Auburn-style Megatron. Love the concentric clean look of Bryant-Denny.

Not at all. I've sat everywhere in BDS and I've never experienced a feeling of claustrophobia in BDS. I've also never had a problem seeing the sky.

I could do without the glass siding. Looks too much like an NFL stadium. I really like the cleanliness and classic look of the brick and mortar.

Will Saban still get his electric fence that zaps all the Northerner students who dare leave in the 3rd quarter?

Obviously.

He signed off on Tiger Stadium's changes.

Well he should have done a better job there. Every time we go to Baton Rouge the scoreboard never works on the L8U side. Its stuck at zero. Poorn craftmanship.

There is zero chance BDS could handle the weight of a center screen. Y’all are crazy.

Also...I just don't like the looks of a suspended screen over an open stadium.

Sounds like he prefers to look at the sky rather than his football team. I don’t blame him.

You’re talking to the same guy who last year promised me that Georgia wouldn’t be able to run the ball.

They proceeded to have two 1,000-yard rushers

Pretty simple, now use your imagination . BDS has a steep vertical pitch in the lower bowl area, the upper deck is similar and it has an overhang. Along with the end zone additions, the view of the sky is limited and is claustrophobic . Feels like you are in a canyon. Get the picture?

You’re not old fashioned, you’re just a dumbass. For one, the lower bowl is very gently sloped. But anyway, I agree with you on one thing: I hate the “modernization” (corporatization) of our stadiums. Honestly I wish all screens were removed- get back to focusing on football, the game being played before you. I’m curious- what are your thoughts on Auburn’s albatross of a TV?

Then shorten the game to no longer than 2.5 hours.

It's been damn near 30 yrs since Auburn has had any type of major renovation to JHS, they have yet to build a football only facility, and they still haven't seen fit to cover the backside of that monstrosity AubieTron.

An AU fan has no business in discussions about stadium renovations or improvements.

Have to admit, BDS is one of the nicest football stadiums in America.

Oh, I guess I fail to see with my own eyes the obvious issues with any building. I think AUs video board sucks from an aesthetic viewpoint. The only thing is serves is shade during day games and it also took away from the overall view of an outside venue. Bama's stadium is nice, but it is claustrophobic and feels like you are in a canyon. And this is an upper deck view.

That's an upper deck view through a weird lens that distorts reality.
