Every offense that Chad has left has improved. Look at Clemson and SMU.

Arkansas about to win a natty next year.

Didn't Clemson's offensive numbers get better after he left? I think he could do fine, but its "meh" from an Auburn fan perspective imo.

Did Deshaun Watson come after him?

from the players he recruited? yes. You have to remember where Clemson was when he took over.

ETA their D improved when Steele left also. How has Steele done at Auburn?

Phase 2 of the aggyinfiltration has begun. We tied an anchor to the flagship and now we're poisoning Auburn from the inside.

Don't have to tell me, we spun Chad as positive as you possibly can

Like I said, could end up being fine but I think yall can do better but I know Gus puts a hamper on some of that cause he wants his guys.

Bama doin work. Perfect setup for them to lose to Barn and then get Morris hired by Barners, Gus will get fired Morris will be interimm and then Barn replaces Arky for worst SEC program.

Now that Kiffin is in Oxford, the worst program is clearly Mississippi State.

I doubt it, but Gus has always hire Yes Sir men. I wouldn’t think Chad would fit that mode due to his buyout from Ark. Gus needs someone to tell him he is fricking up.

Could definitely get behind this hire. Steele and Chad Morris as coordinators?

There is a difference between getting fired and leave the program to get another job!

No question he is a solid/great recruiter. If nothing else, Auburn will get a boost in certain parts of Texas.

SMU didn’t improve on offense when he left. They fell off in year one with Dykes running the show to the point that he benched Hicks (who holds pretty much every SMU passing record). Their success this year was heavily influenced by his recruits being older and Dykes adding some key transfers to bolster depth. I don’t think people here understand just how badly June Jones burned that program down on his way out. Jones wouldn’t even leave campus to recruit his last several seasons on the Hilltop.

Clemson had Deshaun Waston (who AggyChad recruited) waiting to take over. Also, their defense getting better is what truest set them off.

I know you don’t like how things turned out but you don’t need to make shite up.

Hahahahaha.

Worst offensive coach I’ve ever seen. Enjoy.

Nah. You did see how quick Auburn turned around their 3 win season in 2012 right? It was followed up with a Natty appearance.

Auburn may not be consistently the top program, but we will never consistently be at the bottom. Teams like State and Arky are complacent with bad football.

Objectively, this is probably the best we could hope for if it happens.

Morris know's Gus's offense, but has also shown the ability to do well with it elsewhere, especially in the passing game. Gus isn't going to make a Joe Brady type hire where he brings someone in to bring in an entire different philosophy into the passing game. So, if we are going to get somebody that is within the Gus tree, Morris is probably the best of the bunch.

Mario Cristobal will be our new coach. We are going to get him before Bama hires him.

I’m hoping this is like the Muschamp hire. Great coordinator awful HC. We will see. If all he does is focus on recruiting then why not.
