The committee love lsu. Maybe able to get that 2 seed with a Uga win

LSU can afford to lose to UGA and remain in Top 10 and NY6 bowl.
I wouldn't be too sure. With 3 losses NY6 could go to Alabama and Tennessee.
I know what you are going to say...LSU won their division, etc. But, several years ago, Georgia won the east, got beat in the SECCG and Florida went to a great bowl and we went to a middling bowl.

I said in another thread I thought LSU would be #5 when they played UGA. Which bodes well for UGA as well. The higher rank LSU is plays in their favor if they were to beat UGA.
It would be crazy if Georgia beat LSU, loser of OSU/Michigan drops significantly, USCw got beat and Alabama, with their worst season in quite awhile went to the playoffs.

I am surprised that we are in the top 10 after that beat down last week.

Out of your mind if you think LSU os putting up 32 after 13 against Arkansas
The 13 against Arkansas was an anomaly. The SECCG is on turf in a climate controlled dome. LSU has a season’s worth of experience now. I’m expecting a close game.

Does USC, finishing off the season with wins over ranked UCLA, ranked Notre Dame, and a ranked opponent in the PAC12 title game, make it?
The issue with USC is the will have to beat Oregon in the PAC 12 championship and even then, the 3 best wins will be against the teams ranked 9th, 16th, and 17th, when they played. LSU wins out and they will have beaten teams ranked 1st, 6th, and 7th, when they played. One of these things is not like the other.

They’ll cry karma too if we lose to Georgia, who will probably be favored by 2 TDs.

They will when LSU loses to Georgiga.

Well yeah, no shite teams will jump someone when they lose.
But as of now, the committee is signaling that LSU is in the playoffs, 2 loss warts and all, if they can win out.
I assume the loser of Ohio State-Michigan will drop a couple spots, opening the door for LSU to move up. A&M is a bad team and USC is playing ranked Notre Dame, but last week LSU played a bad team at home (UAB) and USC played ranked UCLA. And if they didn't jump then, it's unlikely they jump next time.
And even if they do, LSU wouldn't fall back, just stand pat at #5... with a matchup against #1 on deck. Odds are a win there facilitates a jump right back.
Now, do I expect LSU to beat UGA? That's a different story, and of course USC gets in if they win out, AND LSU loses.

I'de say Hogs right now beat 3-10 playing today at full strength. Woulda, coulda, shoulda, but that's the facts.

Realistic scenario:
1. Georgia - win out
2. Ohio State - win out
3. TCU - win out
4. USC - win out vs highly ranked Notre Dame and highly ranked Oregon
5. Michigan - close loss on road vs Ohio State
6. Clemson - win out
1. Georgia - win out
2. Ohio State - win out
3. TCU - win out
4. USC - win out vs highly ranked Notre Dame and highly ranked Oregon
5. Michigan - close loss on road vs Ohio State
6. Clemson - win out

LSU lost to (now) top-20 FSU, and Top 10 Tennessee
Bama lost to top-10 Tennessee and top-5 LSU
Tennessee lost to top-5 UGA and Unranked South Carolina

South Carolina painted the town in Vol blood. A close loss they’d be ranked No worse than 7th, probably 6th.
