I think that’s the definition of a tangent. Didn’t see that coming.

Funny you deduced that. Trump is the one being combative on trade. The person they're looking to take on Trump doesn't have to take a combative stance. He needs to reason with him because Trump is going full retard.
US presidents have laid down for decades and one comes along who stands up for America. HE gets labeled as the one going full retard. The actual retards are all the other leaders who have allowed us to get into this position in the first place. Trump has wanted someone to fix the trade issues since the 80s. He was almost too patient.

What she's upset about is the fact that she can't mandate that we listen.

Who's gonna teach it to them if the generation before them didn't have to learn it en masse? We can't completely abandon the theory in favor of the practical. We would never progress as a civilization since all the practical applications are based on the theory.

Cause you need bail money to get out of the camp.
If you're gonna out yourself as a renegade judge, you're doing us a favor by not presiding over anything ever again. Like coach used to say, "if you can't do it right, I'll find somebody who can."

Well, someone has to know those things. How do you know who’s going to be the best chemist if you don’t introduce it to all schoolchildren and see who is attracted to the field?
Your point about exercising and not just sitting all day is a good one. And yes, we need to teach more trades. But there still needs to be an overall well-rounded education so the kids aren’t completely ignorant of certain aspects of life.

Judging by her words of "hope" at the end of that byte, AOC seemed to realize in that moment what kind of monster she has helped to create. She couldn't dial back the hysteria fast enough. Maybe that lady was a plant to make AOC look calm and credible.

Trump also wore the wrong outfit to work at McDonald's. It was probably the same suit. He can't keep getting away with this!

You have to do damage control at some point, even if it's late. Good help is hard to find.

You try something, and if it doesn't work, you try something else.
Ensuring you're acting within the bounds of the laws of the country you are governing doesn't qualify as "trying something else if it doesn't work" to me. Someone can easily check to see if something is legal before ordering something to be done. It's wasting resources to shoot from the hip, backpedal, then shoot from the hip again, backpedal, rinse and repeat.

The alternative is the Barack Obama types, who can't answer what they want for breakfast without mentally writing a dissertation and garrulously umm-ing and ahh-ing his way through it for our benefit.
Why can't the alternative be ensuring your orders are legal before tweeting them out?
Trump is attempting to execute the laws of the United States, which is something the Biden administration and other administrations before them neglected to do. It's been so long since the executive branch did its job, most people forgot what it looks like. As I said, I'm OK with a little herky jerky and grinding of some gears as long as the vehicle is moving forward. Obama's 3rd term (Biden) had this country in reverse.
The legalities will work themselves out in the long run.

There is a clear lack of forethought before acting with this administration.
There is, and I'm OK with a certain degree of it. Trump is more about action than typical politicians who are more about words and no action. You try something, and if it doesn't work, you try something else.
The alternative is the Barack Obama types, who can't answer what they want for breakfast without mentally writing a dissertation and garrulously umm-ing and ahh-ing his way through it for our benefit.

Does Bannon mean something more detailed than the DOGE website? It has thousands of pages of discovery of "waste, fraud, and abuse". I haven't looked through all of it, but maybe Bannon's team can. Maybe they already have and didn't find the specifics they were looking for?
