He called me dumb and then said I am “to stupid.” It’s ironic.

That's what my buddies and I were talking about, how the SEC always gets screwed over by everyone to prop up Ohio State, IU, and the entire B1G. We may write the CFP committee about this.

No, tOSU will be. And they probably should be until they lose a game. It has been more than a year

Texas A&M fans are finally in a position to come up with conspiracy theories about how playoff teams are selected. I remember my first time!

IF you beat South Carolina and Texas, you’re going to the SECCG in ATL.

You will likely face Alabama, who controls many of the tickets for that game.

Will you pay a premium to keep The Tide from having basically a home game? Do you have the money to cbid up the secondary ticket market, or is your money not able to cover that type of expense?

What makes you think an undefeated SEC Champ gets a #1 seed over an undefeated B10 champ?

Doesn't really make any sense in 2025. If you are in a P4 conference and you go 13-0 (or even 12-1 at 99% certainty) you are making the playoffs.

So it really is a "just win" scenario.

I’d like to think that Aggie fans would definitely show up for Atlanta, should the Aggies make their first SECCG.

Still have to win some games for that to happen though.

No, he's got a point. The B1G is basically the ACC with 2 good teams at the top. The rest of the schedule is the quality of a Sunbelt conference schedule. Texas Tech jumped Ole Miss and Ole Miss has a better resume in every metric.

They are scared that the SEC is so dominant.

I dont think there is a big difference between being 1,2 or 3 in the seeding. You are getting a bye. Its really about matchups in that first game. For us, we need to avoid Ole Miss and Notre Dame. Those are the worst matchups for us.

Also, a lot can happen between now and the poll that actually matters. This poll is irrelevant. If we win out, we will likely be the 2 seed.
