The two are ridiculously similar though down to the way they are built and the way they look.

Well I guess that settles it then!

I'll be honest. That's pretty cool for you guys. But I'm actually wondering how much he'll actually play for you guys since he may be getting ready for the Olympics.

ESPN has Schwartz rated the #7 WR and #46 overall player.

ESPN rankings don't come anywhere close to Rivals and 247. Nobody should trust ESPNs recruiting rankings.

Supposedly Malzahn, Ralph Spry our T&F coach, and Schwartz all set down together and laid out a plan they all liked to get the best out of him in both sports. Shaun Shivers will also be doing both sports, although he isn't quite Olympic level he'll still be an elite college sprinter.

You'll definitely see Schwartz on the field this year taking speed sweeps at minimum since Eli Stove is out with a torn ACL. Wouldn't be surprised to see him return punts too. We are loaded at WR though so I doubt he'll have too many catches. He says his goal for football this year is to be a Freshmen All-American, so he thinks he'll play enough for that at least.

As for 2020 I think you're right that it would be difficult for him to participate in spring or summer ball, but the 2020 Olympics are scheduled to conclude on Aug 9 so he'll be back in time for the season.

It goes way beyond that. The events they run in track, their PRs, their HS rushing numbers, their running styles (being short and insanely fast, but still being compact and strong enough to have a power running styles that isn't afraid to go between the tackles and run motherless over). It's uncanny

Watch some of his highlights and tell me you aren't looking at the second coming of Sproles.

The last SEC football with a 100m time on par with Schwartz was Trindon Holliday. His speed got him drafted to the NFL where he became the most prolific returner in Broncos history. If you didn't know Trindon Holliday is 5'5" and the shortest player in NFL history next to some random guy who got into one game in 1929...

I knew Trindon Holliday....
Trindon Holliday was a friend of mine...
Schwartz is no Trindon Holliday

Targeting is not helmet-to-helmet, my guy.

Targeting is either hitting a defenseless player above the shoulders

What else is s there above the shoulders?

That hit is textbook targeting.

Right? There's not a play on that tape where he doesn't pick up YAC and there's 10 min worth of highlights in that video

Kid is fast. He is also 5'11" and 165 lbs. Blocking and getting a free release off the line are important parts of the position.

Hope he makes noise this year.
