Should they have written, "in the last ten years"?

No. Because it’s 11 seasons. That’s as far back as the data goes.

Exactly why we won't get left out if we beat UGA

And you deserve to be in. With the schedule you have played, and if you beat the best team in the country, you absolutely deserve it.

I'm not an Alabama fan, but facts are facts.

Other interesting note…

In the past 11 seasons, there have been 31 regular season games that have drawn a metered audience of 10 million viewers…. 29 of those 31 featured either Alabama, Ohio State, or Notre Dame

15 of those games included Alabama
11 of those games included Ohio State
4 of those games included Notre Dame

The only games that hit 10 million viewers that did not feature one of these 3 programs were:

Tennessee at Georgia 2022
Colorado at Oregon 2023

You can take it down to 9 million viewers+ and 41 of 48 games to hit that mark involve those same three programs. Adding to the two that were already mentioned above are these 5 games that did not feature one of those teams:

Colorado State at Colorado 2023
Louisville at Clemson 2016
Michigan at a Michigan St 2021
Florida St vs LSU 2023
Michigan at Penn St 2023

Since 2013, the number of Regular Season games that have drawn a metered audience of 2 million+ viewers:
...
16. Arkansas- 52
...

Considering the last 12 years have been absolute shite for our football program, this is amazing.

South Carolinas number are a bit surprising. I would’ve assumed they’d be better
"metered games" - doesn't include the SECN. unfortunately for Carolina we've lived on the SECN since its inception in 2014. we've had 7 SECN alone in 2023. 6 in 2022.

Interesting. I think the CBS deal with B10 gets them 3rd choice. Not many compelling matchups in that model. A big change for them after 1st choice SEC.

They draw a ton of viewers any way you look at it.

This also why Ole Miss will get in over Mizzou to the Cotton Bowl

Well, we have been terrible for the last 10 years before this.

As for this year, Mizzou has avoided SECN or ESPNU 5 times with an average viewing of 3.9MM per game.

Ole Miss has had 7 such games and averaged 2.9MM per game.

This list proves why Clemson isn't, and will not be an SEC member anytime soon.
