IMO the top SEC matchup of the weekend should be in primetime under the lights - not in the afternoon. Hopefully ABC will start doing that next season

I won’t miss a commercial after a touchdown then a review then after a kickoff

frick CBS and their ridiculous amount of commercials and their 35 minute halftimes.

I don't know if I'm just real used to it but I love CBS broadcasts. I think they've done a great job through the years. I don't think we'll like ABC any better.

I understand where you’re coming from, but they should not be allowed to schedule any 2:30 game until the end of October. It’s ridiculous that the game of the week is being played in 95 degree heat in the deep south. It’s a miserable experience at all stadiums, except maybe Kentucky, Arkansas, or Missouri and none of them ever have early season 2:30 games.

I don’t want to speak for anyone, but I think it had less to do with the broadcast and more to do with the big matchups.

Fairly positive that Sankey has said the 3:30/2:30c timeslot will still be the "SEC Game of the Week" but that ESPN will be able to move it around between ABC and ESPN.

As far as the production sure. Commentary and commercials? Absolutely not

Howard Cosell
Howard was the greatest and most knowledgeable on the field announcer of them all.
Now it's always a female who knows nothing and has to be told through her ear phone what questions to ask the players and coaches.
The game hasn't been the same without Howard.
You could always depend on him to remember facts that no one else knew or remembered.

Does anyone know how long CBS has this contract with the Little 10?

I don't even know who these announcers are now.
I grew up with
ABC-Chris Schenkel/Bud Wilkinson
Keith Jackson/ Ara Parseghian/Frank broyles
CBS- Pat Summerall/Tom Brookshier/John Madden
Lindsey Nelson/Paul Hornung
Brent Musberger/Pat Haden
NBC- Curt Gowdy/Al Deregottis
Dick Enberg/Merlin Olsen
Don Criqui/Bob Trumpy
Dave Dials/Jack Whittaker did the postgame with the scores on the wall as the camera panned down.
I don't even care who broadcasts now.
I'm a little bit too young to remember the ABC guys outside of Keith Jackson. But all the others are burned into my head as the sound of sports.
It's probably because of when I was in college, but I really miss the ESPN Saturday night game, which was typically an SEC game, with Ron Franklin and Adrian Karsten on the sidelines.
