The Mississippi Miracle season.
Was a fun time in the SEC.

Was a good time with Mullen and Freeze.
Hopefully Kiffin and Leach will bring some more magic.

That will never happen again.
Even with their comic coaches straddling the cover of sports illustrated.

LSU won a national championship with Captain Caveman as a coach.
Anything can happen.

Sure it can. But Ed WON it.
Gimme a time frame where Lane/Leach can win the sec. big cat.
Lol! 7 years? 10 years? Prepare to lose money if you bet me on that.

I was telling one of my buddies the other day about how much fun it was to have OM and State both competing for the SEC in 2014. Those were some fun years in the SEC West and I’m hoping Kiffin and Leach can bring that energy back to the state of Mississippi for the good of the entire conference. The Wild West is back!

A passing game coordinator won a championship by calling 10% of the plays.
Wow.

O Gave Brady his first big break
How many established coaches would do that

2014 was a wild ride just to get us to where everyone thought we would be at the end of the season. All four playoff teams (Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, and Ohio State) were ranked in the preseason AP Top 5.

This shows how little you know about LSU football.

LSU is an elite job though

With all of the advantages LSU has over MSU and Ole Miss, they should never lose to MS in any sport. But it happens.

Eh, we should be better than you in every sport and for the most part we are.
Never lose in any sport, ever? That’s a little much. You’re still SEC schools.

Ole Miss getting Katy Perry as their guest picker is the most Ole Miss thing I've ever seen.

Dude nailed it. Add in we have 3 schools fighting over about a 1/4 of the volume of people to choose from in MS. Both schools have done better recently with Footprints and national recruiting. The facility gap has been closing since 2014. But the gap in population geographically, has expanded favor towards LSU.
Another acute example:
MSU was so inept on the athletic administration side of things through the mid 1900’s..... In total, only three games in the series were played outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana from 1934 to 1970.
