Say Bama won on Nov 5. Would you LSU fans think you should go to NOLA over Okie Light? I know yall won , I know there are many who won't answer question. Congrats LSU on a hell of a season! SEC PROUD!

Sure, as fans of LSU we would certainly think that we should.

But we wouldn't deserve it because we didn't punch our ticket there - we'd only deserve to be in the discussion. You are not entitled to a rematch. End. of. story.

So you are saying LSU's resume would be equal to Bama's? No Oregon, no WVU, lost to Bama at home and no SEC championship? OK State would be in the BCSCG.

I think that LSU losing in your stadium would allow for greater justification of a neutral field rematch. Had we lost to you in Tiger Stadium, no, I don't think we would deserve a rematch.

P.S. Though I'd still argue for one

Honestly I wouldn't think LSU deserved a rematch. Rematch? Are you kidding? It cheapens everything about the BCS.

I'd think OSU should go in that situation.

If Bama had won 9-6 OT, do you think LSU should get a rematch?

Yes, but we've beaten more top 10 teams than the rest of the top 10 combined.

The only angle LSU would have over Bama in this scenario would be that the loss was on the road. Perhaps LSU would win at a "neutral" site. (And I realize we can debate the neutrality of the Superdome).

Bama doesn't have that.

Before 11/5 my brother told me that the loser should get ne rematch. I agreed. I felt that since the game was at Bama, if it was close and LSU lost, they would have a good case. But for Bama to have a case I felt like the refs would have had to steal it from them.

It's just hard to understand how a team with a lot of potential, but no resume' or division title or conferenct title, to show for it can receive so much hype.

You have an "ok" Offense, very good Defense, and average Special Teams.

Does that really = BCSCCG.

Team is not one or two good units. It's all aspects of the game and LSU is hands down the most complete "Team" in the country this year.

Bama Grades out:

(B-) Offense
(A+) Defense
(C) Special Teams
(B-) Coaching
(C-) Schedule
