People use to get pissed off about Saban for all the people he "processed".
That's what a good bit of this stuff, just kids getting processed. They compete, they lose out, they transfer. Now it's just become acceptable and more common.
Not being able to process kids leads to a lack of talent oddly enough, because not everyone works out and does as expected, then you'd be stuck with them.
You can pretty much expect/need to lose 1/3rd of your class if you want to keep recruiting 25+ every year on an 85 scholarship limit.

He is projected as a first round NFL pick. He is a top five QB and top 30 player per draft experts. Some such as PFF and Mel Kiper have even projected him as the first QB taken, though most see Sanders going first.
Regardless, an NFL team will want Milroe.

I know a defensive player for Florida that is a good player but not great.
He’s a life long gator fan and both parents attended Florida.

I don't really agree with this.
While only half may be left, if you keep the half that panned out, keep signing top recruiting classes and bring in guys who were lower ranked but outperformed their recruiting ranking to fill need spots... that's the winning formula.
The same schools that regularly recruit well do exactly that. UGA has lost a lot of transfers over the years. But the reality is the number who've had any real success after transferring is pretty small. There are a few, but not a huge number. Most of those who left were misses who made room for more highly rated recruits in the next class.
