Bama fans couldn't care less about the NIL with respect to it damaging our program. There are too many good players for it to have a significant on any program. At the end of the day it's going to boil down to coaching, and discipline. Us Bama fans thought we were the Kings of Football during our down years between 1997-2007. In our minds we were just going through a rough stretch in our storied history (ended up being true). Do you think that mindset is going to end because of NIL? LOL....Yes eventually coach Saban will retire, the national titles and playoff appearances will slow down but if you think Bama is the type of program that will just sit back and accept mediocrity you're either naive or just plain stupid. We're just not built like that!

LOL....It's true. I can't even explain it to you. Hell...it may be toxic way of thinking but historically Bama has been winning for so long it just feels like we're suppose to be win. Yeah we had a rough stretch in the 80's and 90's but even then we had several SEC Championships and a National Championship. AND THAT WAS OUR WORST PERIOD!! Some teams would kill for that.
I'm saying all of this because it seems like some other teams fans (especially LSU) want Bama fans to feel inferior and unfortunately for them thats not going to happen. Its like being born wealthy. You feel you deserve it whether you do or don't. Like I said, Bama is not above having some rough years but Bama will always be Bama and there's really not much you can do about it.

NOT TRUE for the true Ags that understand football and Jimbo's approach.
Jimbo never promised a natty immediately. Since he hire I have 100% been focused on 2023 for the big year that we will then be ready to compete year in and year out.
And he is executing nearly flawlessly so far. Just gotta make sure we have our QB on the field next year so he get the playing time needed for a 2023 run.
So come back in 2024 and tell us how terrible we are and that Jimbo isn't capable and then maybe you will get some responses that might lean your way.

You can argue that A&M will pull ahead again in the next decade. That’s a nice dream for you little Aggie fans.

NIL and recruiting will be a nice way to show who likes to wipe their asses with money, and who has their program in line. Considering Jimbo's history, I wouldn't be nearly as confident as some of the Aggies here.
