Mr. Jack Daniel,
I am afraid that you are correct. It feels like that is true in our current society.

Personally, I believe that it is much better to handle this situation the way LSU did. In my opinion, not playing in the Gator Bowl was a very bad decision by the powers that be in College Station.

It seems to me that this dang Covid malaise that we have been in has given opportunity to a lot of people/organizations to take the easy way out in a lot of situations. It is sad commentary on the state that we are in as a country.

I choose to believe that the powers that be in Baton Rouge, chose to play the game because it was the right thing to do, and I really wish that they had won. Unfortunately, the administrators in College Station will see the outcome of the Texas Bowl as something of a vindication of their choice, and I really don’t like that!!

It is akin to my thinking that Arkansas did the right thing years ago when they fired Petrino. I wish things had turned out differently, and that the program didn’t suffer so much when they made the right choice.
Rematch possibilities are what we are going to have to live with if we want a playoff. They are even more a possibility when the playoffs expand.
So you are saying you and no one else cares about what he posts after I point out to you that you have responded to him twice. Then you further prove me right by letting me know that you have responded to him a lot more than what I have seen. You obviously “care” about what he has to post.

I think he is an Alabama fan that is pretending to be an Ole Miss fan, and most of the time, he is trying to troll Auburn and LSU fans. Negative responses are what he is looking for. You begging him to stop or as you term it, “calling him out” is only encouraging him because you are giving him exactly what he wants.

You have responded to his posts twice now. I believe that when you post that you don’t “care” about his posts that what you really mean is that you don’t like his posts, and because you don’t like his posts you are asking for someone with the power to stop him from posting. Yikes!!

re: No way Georgia loses to Bama

Those are not excuses. They are facts. Bama is limping into this game, but I still like their chances.

If Bama loses, they just lose. We won’t hear people complaining that Georgia didn’t “deserve” to be there for the rest of time. If GA wins, they win. They are clearly in the the top two just like Alabama was in 2011, and 2011 Oklahoma State was this year’s Michigan.
Certainly, you don’t think that the Florida and Auburn teams of this bowl season are as dangerous as they were earlier this year.

I am not “concerned” about Bama. I know that this Bama team is not nearly as good as many of Saban’s previous Bama teams, and Bama is not assured of victory here in the CFP. However, I will always believe that a Saban lead Bama is likely always going to be a tough out for most teams. I think that a Saban lead Bama team has only lost by more than 14 once during Saban’s tenure.

Bama may be lucky that they don’t have to deal with a loaded OSU or Clemson, but the rest of this playoff field should also be very relieved that they don’t have to play 2019 LSU or 2020 Bama. Either one of those squads would most likely annihilate this entire group.

How about SEC championships? Do you approve of the number Bama championships in that area.

Aren’t you the Auburn poster that that guaranteed everyone on here that UCF had beaten Bama more times than they had beaten Auburn? Here, you are claiming that somehow half of the Championships on Bama’s ledger are made up by Bama fans.

Maybe its you that has trouble trouble counting properly.

You still haven’t answered another one of my questions. What do you mean by dance?

Triggered again and unable to accept reality. Sad. Sad.

Your answer was weak. You refused to answer the question properly. Obviously, what you said was a “statement,” but what kind of statement was it? Was it a threat? Was it a warning? Was it joke? A lie perhaps?

Here you are threatening again, but you are unable to be a big enough person to admit that you were threatening the other poster on here. You got called out and you can’t handle your business without vulgarity and threatening behavior.
What do you mean by dance?

You can be as bold as you want on an anonymous message board. Hopefully, you do not behave like this in real life. Certainly, an educated person would not behave this way.

I have read your post. You state that you would harm someone online and how you would do it. It will take some real mental gymnastics to read your statement any other way.

I will ask you again, and see if you can answer the question directly. What was is if it was’t a threat?

Ok. Explain what is was if it was’t a threat. I don’t think that you understand what threat means.

Page 2 of this very thread. where you talk about getting some scaffolding and hanging people. There is your threat right there. Your lack of self awareness is stunning.

A brief review of your posting history exposes your angry and vulgar posts. You need a break from posting on the internet so that you can examine yourself and maybe start dealing with some of your anger issues.

FBI agent: Knock knock

Veeger: Who’s there?

FBI agent: We have a warrant

Veeger: For what you ##%#%#*?

FBI agent: You will be getting a psych eval while we determine if the threats you make online are credible. Come with us. Easy way? Hard way?
You must be one those people that still believes Auburn is in Georgia since you are saying that entire state is trash because you certainly wouldn’t be including Auburn in the state you just declared as trashy would you?

Your post is trashy for sure.
MetroGatorFan,
If I recall correctly, the gators won the SEC in 1991, 1993, 1994, and 1995. So you need to add 4 SEC championships to your list. Quite an impressive run for the gators from 1991 to 2009. I would count that 2009 season because Gators were most likely at least the second best team in the country that year. We won’t speak of the years that followed. In all seriousness, just about everyone in the SEC would trade results with Florida during that time.

Edit to add that Florida was the SEC east division winner/co-winner in 15 of those seasons between 1992 and 2009.
Acknowledging that college football existed prior to 1982 is strong work blueridgeTiger. The power of the Red Elephant Club is awesome and real.
I am afraid y’all lost to Auburn and Cam Newton twice that year. Once in the regular season, and once in the SeC championship game. Auburn went on to win the national championship in the BCS game against Oregon Ducks.
AUX3, I am not sure that you watched much of Bryce’s play at Alabama this year. At least three other guys played some at quarterback this year, and if you had watched them at all, you would know that they were not ready for prime time. I would say that Bama could have easily lost to LSU, ArK, and Auburn without Bryce. All other things being equal, Bryce was the difference between this team being 12-1 vs 8-4 because I don’t think that this team gets to the SEC championship game without him.

I also disagree with your statement that he didn’t look like a heisman all year. In addition to you missing a lot of his performances throughout the year, you must have totally blacked out during the SEC championship game this year. He was absolutely fantastic, and for the year he had something like 43 touchdowns and 4 picks. I will leave you with the stats for what appears to be a mediocre heisman campaign below. By all accounts, Pat Sullivan was a most outstanding person, but here is how the Heisman trust describes his heisman year in toto: “... But 1971 was to be Sullivan’s greatest year. The Tigers started out 9-0, cementing his claim to the Heisman with 248 yards and four touchdowns against Georgia. He threw for 2,012 yards and 20 touchdowns, edging out Cornell running back Ed Marinaro to capture the trophy named for Auburn’s former football coach. He was once again honored as SEC Player of the Year and was All-SEC athletically and academically for the second straight year.”
