Lane walked to Weiss’s office and said get on the plane or you won’t have a job at LSU before he left the Ole Miss football offices. In BR stuck a contract/MOU in his face that had a big buyout and CWJ signed it. At that point he had no choice. Ole Miss did want him back.

You make it damn clear to Weis why he ain't getting on that plane.

Ole Miss can win. UGA can’t get cocky here. Hotty Toddy is playing with house money and they have nothing to lose at this point.

What are you talking about? They control their own destiny to a national championship. This isn’t auburn Alabama from this year where auburn didnt go anywhere if they won. Being an underdog doesn’t make them have “nothing to lose”

UGA is playing really good ball right now.

Kirby has the defense peaking.

Georgia held Texas to 274 yards of total offense.

Georgia held Georgia Tech to 250 yards of total offense.

Georgia held Alabama to 209 yards of total offense.

Expect the Haines King treatment for Chambliss since Lacy has a dislocated shoulder and will have to wear a harness.

Georgia -7 to open.

It’ll be tougher this time with Georgia getting healthy.

But it’s also neutral site instead of Athens.

Look, if anyone is gonna stop them, it’s Kirby, but the Ole Miss offense has been like a knife through butter against every team they played this year. Georgia’s the only team that held them under 400 yards and they still scored 35.

So your assumption is the UGA defense won’t play better but yours will?

Bold assumption but if it makes you happy go for it

The winner of this game will play for the National Title. Unfortunately for OM, Georgia is the healthiest they've been all season. The spread is right on point for this one. 31-24 Dawgs.

You won't be able to run the ball on Georgia.

So, the Haines King treatment is what you can expect.

I’ve wondered the same thing as I think Trinidad is more tied to Charlie than Lane. Didn’t seem like Pete wanted to be HC and naming Charlie seems like would have covered both sides of the ball.

Ole Miss needs to fit runs better in NOLA. If we can do that it’ll be a pod game. If we can’t we can get the portal merry go round started.

Tulane just totaled 421 yards of offense in Oxford.

Last time, our offense did whatever it wanted the first 45 minutes of the game, if the defense can adjust and get a few outs, very good chance.
With Lane at the helm, you beat Tulane 45-10

His team on autopilot won by less

Offense gained more yards, and held Tulane to fewer yards when Lane was at the helm.

Pete looked like he was about to start a dynasty yesterday.

Venables looked like that after a quarter manhandling the tide.

Remember, Ole Miss had a 9-point lead in the 4th versus Georgia and got skunked 17-0.
