He is putting up u real numbers in the SEC. I have to believe he will at least get an invite to NYC for the Heisman presentation.

2,780 yds passing and 18 TDs
1,014 yds rushing and 15 TDs

I wonder if Sumlin let's him play much this week.

He deserves serious consideration.

Invite, yes. Heisman, no.

Just like Adrian Peterson in 2004.

Who is going to win it then? Some Oregon RB that we don't even know about here in SEC country

He should win it IMO. His play has been exceptional.

I'd say he's the new frontrunner right now. Granted that means nothing since there seems to be a new guy every week. He'll have plenty of opportunities to rack up stats in his last two games, but playing against Sam Houston and Mizzou, he has to hope A&M doesn't get lost from the spotlight. Which will probably happen.

J3 deserves an invite. Not going to top Kline, Barner or Te'o. Klein IMO is the best CFB player, doesn't mean he will win though.

I'd take Johnny Football over Klein any day of the week

I would too. The thing is though, Klein is going to be very much in the spotlight the next few weeks while A&M will at best be hidden in the back pages against Sam Houston and Mizzou. If Klein performs well, and KState keeps winning, I highly doubt anybody besides him or Barner wins it (Barner for the same reasons as Klein).

Klein is the big brother version of JFF.

If aTm can beat UA there is no way they should have lost to UF and LSU, (transitive properties thought of the day) which is how I think the Heisman Collective will see it. Klein has flat out embarrassed all of the Big12 so far. JM is going to NY and will win the Heisman, just not this year.

Is McCannon still getting an invite? I think so he's the best pure QB in the SEC FACT.

If Texass beats KSU... he has a good chance. Lots of media support right now.

Not on a two loss team and a team that was not in the media until the last couple of weeks.

Have you seen UT play this year. Klein can walk the length of the field and not be tackled. UT's D suckkkkkkssssss. They better hope Ash has a lights out game.
McCarron is a great College QB, but Klein, Te'o, Barner and J3 are the best players on the field come Sat. Best player=Heisman. To bad the Heisman cabal doesn't award it to the best player.

I think they may see it that way, but surely you don't, right? I mean, you don't see a difference in his play during the past three games versus the beginning of the season?

The guy's game has taken a quantum leap forward. It's likely we still lose to LSU 6 out of 10 times we play that game if we played right now, but UF? We'd roll Florida right now. Johnny wasn't even throwing downfield in that game. Wasn't even trying to. He was raining long yards on Bama the other night. Players can progress as the season goes on... especially freshmen, and Johnny has grown a lot.

Actually watched them play a few times. The last game was against Texas Tech and Texasss lit them up both offensively and defensively.

They have better athletes on their side of the ball. I would love to see KSU win by 40 for recruiting purposes but I can see Texass coming out with a balanced attack and moving the ball very well against KSU. KSU haven't played anyone with the running attack of the sips.

Take Texasss and the points if you are betting. Book it.

In my opinion, Klein has really lacked that "heisman moment" that the media looks for. He is clearly the best player on the number one team, but who are their quality wins? Their big win is over OU in Norman where Notre Dame (a team most view as overrated and on borrowed time as it is) came in and thumped them twice as hard.

The BIg XII is not a strong conference and really lacks quality at the top. The lack of marquee wins and games really hurts Klein. Not to mention he's had some pretty mediocre games along the way.
