Meh.. thank the NCAA. Lane tried to coach the rest of the season and playoffs like in every other sport. The best thing Carter could have done was say sure coach the rest of the season. Who knows maybe LSU and Florida would have both probably moved on.

No matter what he plays the game. He will be the highest paid coach in college after this. I’d rather him go than break the bank. At least we aren’t Mississippi State.

Everyone thought he had straightened out but if he leaves like this then he is the same douche that cost Alabama the championship in 2016 and left Tennessee in the middle of the night.

Whether he leaves for bamma or Texas or the other two, or sticks at Old Miss, he will celebrate for about three days and then start slinging those resumes out
