re: Can anyone give an example where Bama got really screwed on a call in an SEC game?

Well, it isn't up to me. If there was a said investigation and if bama was to be found guilty, the only factor would be what the NCAA would deem appropriate.

I remember them getting 3 personal fouls on one play against LSU a couple years ago! Oh never mind. Apparently it was negated by a ghost personal foul call against LSU.

The refs do a good job of calling penalties against Bama when they are playing Arkansas and Vandy. Against LSU and Auburn, it's a different story.

typical gump response...it's not the number of penalties, it's the borderline calls/ no flags that never go against Bama in critical times of games...it's clear as day

Yes! The other penalties don't count or lead up to those memorable penalties that just happened to go against you and therefore are so fresh in your mind and important to the outcome of the game!

Do y’all just pull this stuff out of your arse? Seriously, it’s like you all just lie to yourselves in order to cling to this fantasy. Go back the last three years and tell me how it’s a “different story” when it comes to this uneven distribution of penalties in the games between Alabama and LSU & Auburn.
I’m sure you’ll then deflect to the “muh timing” argument once you see the stats.

In the second pic Reid is getting his hand placed on the ball. In the third pic, Bama receiver has lost the ball with his right hand and both players possess the ball with one hand. Not sure what happened immediately but evidently Reid came up with the ball and it stood because no evidence was available to overturn it. Not a good example of Bama getting screwed.
So if the refs were favoring Bama why didnt they call it a catch by Williams?

They just did that one to cover their tracks.

This is why you dont bother answering these type posts. You can give stats and facts and examples and none of it matters. Just ask them why their AD allows this favoritism to continue

Would it blow your mind if I told you that 4 replay officials look at every review?

It’s pretty funny to watch. They come storming in with their hot takes about Bama getting all the calls. When shown facts, they move the goalposts from the number of penalties to the timing of penalties, then to well-timed/nuanced penalties. After that, they usually just stop posting or try to get all emotional.
It’s like debating college SJWs.

Against the best defensive front 7 and one of the most dominant pass rushes of the modern era, Clemson ran 99 plays and was not called for holding a once. Not once.
They actually suffered zero offensive penalties.
That’s pretty fkn ridiculous

Not sure if this has been mentioned but in 2004 Corey Webster absolutely mugged the Bama receiver in the end zone before picking it off.
I don’t think there is a conspiracy but it does seem like Alabama has been the beneficiary of a lot more breaks than not in recent years.

It SEEMS that way because they still win. Those bad calls stand out when they're viewed as contributing to a loss. Nobody complains about them much if the team wins anyway... well except LSU fans. But, we can partially attribute LSU fans' current state to the fact that a perceived bad call MIGHT cost them their next game.

I don’t mean just calls bad calls on the field but even something like Vadal Alexander losing his mind and costing us the 2014 game, not a bad call but an unforced break that benefited Bama, for example.
Those types of things probably do stand out more. I think if you look at how the series has played out from an LSU point of view it shouldn’t be hard to understand why there’s a lot of frustration there that sometimes manifests itself in unhealthy ways for some fans.

Its called confirmation bias. You ignore incidents, like the Michael Williams catch, that dont fit your world view.
