The refs do a good job of calling penalties against Bama when they are playing Arkansas and Vandy. Against LSU and Auburn, it's a different story.

Don’t run away. I’d seriously like to know how you formulated this opinion. Was it in a meme or something?

So former MSU AD and player Larry Templeton is in on the conspiracy to help Bama. Nice.

I didn’t say there was a conspiracy, I said there was a conflict of interest

A former Mississippi State AD shouldn’t be making the schedule either btw

The problem with conflict of interest is that there will always be a conflict of interest. No matter who is doing what. Say you bring in people from other conferences or university affiliations. Who's to say you wouldn't get an alum of a school lsu beat that is still pissed off about that loss?

It's a stretch, I know, but conflict of interest can still be present even in non SEC connected individuals.

where is the Bama examples?

Corey Webster got away with a clear pass interference on a game-changing interception in the end zone during the 2004 Alabama-LSU game.

EDIT: I see it's right above this post

Really good example. I remember during the game I got in a huge argument with a Bama friend and I defended the call. Later, I realized it probably should have gone the other way.

This. Unlike the LSU tinfoil hat conspiracies, this is an actual fact.

The bullshite call for a personal foul on Vadal Alexander as the Bama defender was trying to dislocate his knee hip as he was trying to go back to the huddle.....or did you forget that"righteous " call?????? 2nd and goal from the 3 or 4 to a second and goal from the 18-19.....not gonna say that was the refs cheating but they surely were not playing that straight

Fight me bro

So because we can’t guarantee to eliminate all conflicts of interest at a 100% success rate that means we should just throw up our hands and say screw it, anything goes?

Not saying that. All that will happen at that point is tiger rant posters will point out that a ref that went to Washington had an uncle that married in to the family 30 years before that had a nephew that went to Alabama

someone investigates Alabama for all this so called collusion/cheating/paying players

Alabama does not pay players!!!!!!!

They get people like Landon Collins' girlfriend overpaid jobs with the Athletic Department.

Find "jobs" for the Tagliavoa family in the Birmingham family and benefactors who agree to pay their mortgage in Alabaster.

or

Donate 350,000.00 to the Kuondjio Bros high school in Maryland

It's all REC money.....or Bryant Bank that guarantees. Until a big time recruit gets screwed over by Saban and does not make the NFL.....ain't no one sayin nuthin

The Chargers......ehhhhhh......they are just "loaner" cars.... to be fair just about every program does this

4 game changers and final play losses to AU. You gotta be old to recall a couple.

#1 Bama AA db (maybe T King) in a scrum with an AU receiver and he breaks free, intercepts to end AU final drive. BS interference call.

#2 4 minutes to go and AU trails. 3rd and long on a wet field and AU runs sweep but RB slips and falls. Bama LB slips simultaneously and falls into him. Unnecessary roughness. 15 yards instead of a 4th down punt. To AU's credit they did take it in but the game was over short of the BS call.

#3 Last seconds Kitchens I believe throws TD pass to Bama WR to win the game. Ref in endzone rules catch made out of bounds. Replays show the receiver was clearly in bounds.

#4 Kick 6. Some of the AU sideline was on the field, one coach even blocked an Alabama player trailing the play. No he would have never caught him but the rules are the rules. And returner stepped on the sideline marker at least once.

Of those 4 the only one with any sort of justification was #1.

I'm still mad about that one.

1983 (?) Vs Penn state. Touchdown pass at the back of the end zone. Ref called it out of bounds. Ref was related to one of the Penn state players if I recall right.

I could show you 99 examples in the 2017 NCG. But I’m a Bama fan and don’t have near the whining skills of LSU fans.

Nah. The ball was moving before William's was down. That's a INT all day everyday

Worst PI no-call I've ever seen in person

I was actually coming here to mention that one. I do think the WR flopped some. It didn't appear that Webster pushed him too hard; however, that's definitely a PI.
