Can anyone explain the fascination of LSU Football this year by Ole Miss fans?

First you had the handful of them back in August in a thread proudly boasting their betting slips which included the under of LSU’s regular season wins - starting a pissing match with LSU fans calling them scared for not betting on a unpredictable year

And then you have that Ole Miss autist who spammed the board with about a thread every 10 minutes Saturday night and did a ban bet that LSU would lose to Auburn that he completely welched on

And now just today, you have Ole Miss fans melting because LSU fans on a LSU website are predicting a win in a toss up game, and another Ole Miss self-roasting his school by asking how humiliated LSU fans should be to lose

What gives?

Prior to this season, most of us thought we had a legit shot at going into the LSU game undefeated. Lane took in a ton of transfers that are starters, with a new QB, and thought it would take time for the team to gel. So, the LSU game is really one that we figured would be indicative of where this team is.

The first half of our schedule this year was pretty easy - although, when the GA Tech game was initially scheduled, they were a decent program at that time. We haven't really put together a solid 4 quarters of good play by both sides of the ball yet this year. Lots of inconsistent play - defense will look great one game, and meh the next. Offense will look unstoppable for a half, and then the next half they can't get going.

LSU game is a simply a barometer of where our team is at.

probably the least fascinating year for LSU football outside of Brian Kelly's dancing and oratory form.

LSU is pretty riled up about OM though. In fact it seems that a lot of teams get worked up before their game for OM. Surprisingly several moreso than State

Tenn
Arky
Aub
LSU

All lose their shite before their OM game. Interesting internet reactions really.

Little brothers.

The thread this morning was a set up because that poster knows they are going to lose. Now he can say "LSU is supposed to win. They have more resources."

90% of the stuff you’re crying about in your OP is from on OM poster, Grateful Reb. I guess he should be flattered that he caused such a stir

As far as your point as a whole, we hate LSU. You want us to stop? You want a cookie? What exactly do you want?

We’ve made their lives hell for a long time when it comes to college football. It’s just the way it is. So they are naturally obsessing a little bit over this game.

Geaux to hell OM!!!

LSU should not be a barometer for any team this year.
