He also still holds the record for being the highest paid college QB in NCAA history.
Bama paid a DT $200,000 in 1999. What do you think y'all are paying QBs now? Tua's entire package deal with the cash, the move from Hawaii to Alabama, new house and cars in Alabama, new lives and careers handed to parents and several brothers and sisters, little brother riding his athletic coattails. That deal is worth well over $1mil just upfront alone. Several times that over the years.

I get the feeling bama fans remember him for other things too.
The year he ruined our championshi...oh wait, we were already out of the picture.
Or did you mean the rule the NCAA had to create in response to him?
I'm sure it will score big points with the NFL HOF.

Do you have any idea the difference in cost of living between Hawaii and Alabama?
It's like when I live in the bay. I lived in a house that today is valued at 1.4 million. It was a decent house, in the city with a yard. However that house might sell for 200k in Alabama.
They could sell their house and basically retire in Alabama if they wanted. That's what many people do, although usually they end up in Texas.
You just sound ignorant.

He’s a frickin cry baby douche and it’s no secret. The NFL and his agents had to force his bitch arse to do things to try and improve his image

quote:So what?
he's the greatest Dual Threat Quarterback in NFL history
I’m not saying this is the case but what if there have been 70 better QBs than him in the NFL?
What does his designation as a duel threat have to do with anything? The 70th best modern day QB shouldn’t be making the HoF.

So he's an all-time NFL great who has revolutionized the way the position is played and by default the way offense is played in the NFL.
He's an icon with massive amounts of influence on the game. Not to mention an all around great guy, highly respected member of his community, and most importantly a great father.
